I don't know if you were joking or not, but Abe and Lexie adopted the baby. So why would he be suspicious.

I'm gonna try to answer a bunch of these at once.

Marlena possessed story - totally freaked me out. I almost stopped watching the show because of that... almost.

Belle- She annoyed me at first too. I think when they first brought her back she was supposed to be a real nightmare, kind of like Sami. I guess they decided to make her sweet and make Brady the nightmare. Speaking of Brady, 19??? First I remember when he was born, and that was not 19 years ago. (Same for Belle and Shawn) Second, doesn't he look a little old for 19?

Belle and Shawn- I like them. I think they're trying to make them the new Bo and Hope. One of those stories where they grew up together and fell in love and lived happily ever after. The way kids in Salem age, they'll be 25 and married in a couple of weeks.

OTW- The July last blast kind of stumps me too. It'll be time to start school in a couple of weeks. Short summer vacation I guess. Also, I think Days and Passions will both be preempted today and tomorrow, so I don't think you'll miss anything.

Mimi-Why did she not want to be a tag along on Belle and Shawn's date, but doesn't seem to mind tagging along with Jan the Nightmare and Jason the drunk??? I'm very confused about that one.

Jan-What is her trauma? Nobody can be that bitter at 16. Maybe I was just a sheltered teenager.


Carrie and Mike got engaged and moved to Africa so he could start a clinic for underpriveleged children. Carrie is doing the PR for it.

I really need to get a life and stop planning my life around this show.

OK, I know this thread is about Days, but I didnt wanna start a new thread when this one is soap related.

My cable system just started carrying SoapNetwork. I am gonna have to drop outta school. I was up till 4 am last night watching it. NOTHING beats old school soaps. My FAVORITE...

Falcon Crest! My god could a soap be any cheezier? I love it. So very 1986, bad acting, worse clothes, and you gotta love some Jane Wyman. God she is evil on that show, make ya wanna slap her. (Wasnt she married to Ronald Regan before nancy?) Too cool...love me some FC!

I remember watching Falcon Crest as a kid with my mom. It was right after Dallas on Friday nights. She used make me cover my eyes when it came for those "scenes".

As a kid I had a crush on Lorenzo Llamas when he looked wholesome. Now he just looks blah.

I know what you mean though. I usually watch Falcon Crest and Knots Landing, but nothing beats my all time fav, Sisters.

No, I missed DAYS today!!!!! She really said that...cool! But they never actually show people going to college in Salem. She will end up going off to college for like a year and then she will magically show up with a degree and go to work at Titan or Basic Black.

I think that Belle and Shawn are going to eventually "do the deed" because Belle alluded to it. I wish they wouldn't because she is supposed to be pure Carrie waited until she was engaged to Austin, so I think Belle should AT LEAST do that

I am SO glad you cleared that up. I only catch it once in a while and missed that rather important plot point. I was utterly baffled and thinking "umm, haven't they noticed that...."

I missed that part...I was only watching off and on today! I'll have to pay more attention now. I am also a BIG Passions fan, too. But these stories go so slowly and I'm not very patient I just want to know what will happen I'm tired of guessing...

don't worry Kirsten, you didn't miss much - Belle just mentioned about the excitement of going off to college, and then said, "Maybe joining a sorority..." and then that was it.

dzsaigirl, about Belle and Shawn eventually doing the deed, if you go to Dustin's Days of Our Lives Spoiler page, it tells you a lot on that. Personally I don't really like the idea, since I think it's really too soon. They haven't declared being boyfriend-girlfriend status even! (though they essentially are...) It just seems to me that their relatinoship just began like 2 weeks ago or something (or less)?

BTW, if any of you read about the spoilers about Jan and Paul - ughh. Personally, I think it's the wrong step that Days is taking. OTW, do you know what I'm talking about (you read the spoilers right? )?

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner Car, but yes--I think it'd be too early for Belle and Shawn. I mean, come on--she was freaking out when he tried to hold her hand (she thought it was a spider!)... However, I do think that they make an adorable couple. That Shawn Brady is so damn cute.

About the Paul and Jan thing, I don't think the Days writers would have the guts to do something like that...but you never know. Even Dustin himself said that he hopes that this doesn't happen...but with the way things are going--who knows.

Today's episode made me want to be a high schooler again. Going on class trips...sneaking off somewhere...the joys of having Mr. Adorable holding your hand for the first time...and PHILIP...OMG Philip's rendition of the LeeAnn Rimes song. Wow.

I think the song's called "I Need You". The one that goes "I need you...like water, like breath, like rain..". I didn't know Philip could sing.

Austin and Sami should be back soon...I guess after this Days' Temptation Island thing dies out. Brandon should be getting between those two. I really wanted Austin with Greta...God forbid she'd end up with Jack (even though the spoilers say it's not likely).
