You know, watching this all I can say is that my faith in our race's sense of obligation is renewed. Just a blessing to see so many of us gathered for a GOOD cause, showing that we still take care of our own.

Even if some are "partying" the numbers of people, from all walks of life (from all over the world) coming to that small hick town speaks volumes. The presence of the people sends a resounding message. I hope the spirit continues throughout the nation from this day forward.

Am I REALLY hearing Jaheim's "Just in Case" song playing in the Louisiana stream on CNN?

I switched to the D.C. rally.

Considering the fact that my video stream has NO sound.  (Thanks Coke) I'm merely watching and using GC to fill me in. (To which I'm much appreciative!) A couple thoughts: I thought Mychal needed 90K and not just 9K. ALSO, is it wrong that the when I heard of David Bowie giving 10K...while I thought it was quite honorable I wondered if any Kanye, .50, Hov, B...anybody was going to do the same.
I enjoy me some Ye, but if he throw the Jena 6 in a verse on the next album and has yet to throw a dime at that bail - I'ma know something.

He sold 900,000 copies in a week. I didn't buy one but if he took his cut of those copies sold and gave it all to Jena 6, I would go out and buy his CD. And I have never bought a Kanye CD.

That's really the only significant coverage that I can see since the Louisiana coverage stopped and all you see is roll call with music playing.
