That sounds absolutely fantastic to me!

Sounds heavenly. This must be why no one ever leaves Jersey.

Then what would she call them? They are definitely Yankees to us. I don't care whether you're a soda yankee (Northeast) or a pop yankee (Midwest), you're still a Yankee.

Regarding minorities, I don't usually call them yankees.

Anyone from up North is a Yankee. Regardless of race. I'm surprised anyone said otherwise.
You hit the nail on the head with the friends thing. Hell, my boyfriend and I tease each other about our upbringings and we're both Southern (I'm a native Memphian; he's a native Cajun).

ahem.
It's pop in Pittsburgh and we definitely are not the midwest. New England is soda.
WVU alpha phi - does West VA have open container laws? I didn't think they did, or maybe it's just thinking everyone near us can't have the same stupid laws we do.

No open container laws, I wish. But in Morgantown laws aren't strictly enforced at all so it's usually pretty safe to walk to the bar with something in your hand as long as it isn't totally obvious.

Yay for Western PA and Western NY, where Pop, Heinz Ketchup, and Ranch Dressing rule the world!

I like to use Heinz because I can see the factory when I go Downtown. I like it cause it tastes better, too.
I also prefer Pepsi to Coke.

I like Heinz too actually, but I hate the Kerry's.
Also, when people like you drink Pepsi, the terrorists have already won.

I don't like to let politics interfere with my Ketchup of choice.
Just remember that Pepsi and Lays are made by the same people - so when you eat your Lays potato chips, or doritos, or whatever, you're supporting the terrorists, too.
