Regarding the Michael and is he gay or not question, this is from an interview that's up on the Bravo website right now:

Quote:
OK EVERYBODY WANTS TO KNOW -- ARE YOU SINGLE OR WHAT?

Well, first of all let me say I am straight! It's no big deal but everybody is asking me. They don't see me so maybe they wonder. I don't know.

WELL, I WANTED TO ASK ABOUT WHETHER YOU WERE STRAIGHT OR WHAT BUT I FELT LIKE ASKING IF YOU ARE SINGLE WAS THE RIGHT WAY TO LEAD TO IT SO I AM GLAD YOU ADDRESSED IT.

I am so glad you asked it that way, Andy. It's stupid and rude and I don't get why it makes a difference either way. The hood side of me wants to say, "Why -- are you trying to screw me, is that why you're asking?" But that's what I want to say. But, yes I am straight and no I am not dating anybody. Wow, I can't believe we are really discussing this!

THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT PEOPLE WONDER ABOUT DESIGNER'S SEXUALITY PROBABLY MORE THAN ANY OTHER FIELD BECAUSE IT IS AN OVERTLY CREATIVE FIELD.

People would naturally assume that because the majority of the individuals in fashion are gay. I get why they would assume it. It really doesn't bother me. I don't care either way.

Exactly! LOL. But, he is very body conscious. He knows how to flatter curves. I still don't know about him. LOL.

Another win for Michael!! I was surprised he won, I thought Jeffrey was going to, but I'm glad he didn't.

I love Laura, her dress was so well made and if someone didn't know any better they probably couldn't tell it was made from recyclable materials.

Vincent's dress....um, really there are no words. He is crazy and I'm surprised that he didn't go home last night because each one of his designs except the Miss USA dress has been awful!

Too bad Allison had to go - but I understand why they sent her home instead of Vincent.

I am pissed about Allison leaving -- Vincent should have been out on his azz. Alexandra, her model, is not "zaftig." Usually, I love Tim, Heidi and Co. but they weren't right on this one.

Although Laura's outfit is more my personal taste, I am feeling Michael. Very inventive, thoughtful and creative. He seems to be building momentum, and I hope he can keep it up.

Glad that Robert rallied. The material was gross, but the dress, if done in a black fabric, is definitely something I'd wear.

Blame Heidi and the judges all you want, but NEVER Tim Gunn! He agrees with you- check his blog.

Now that I have officially caught up!

Okay...here are my observations!

I am very disappointed and POed that Allison was voted off. If anyone should have been voted off it should have been Vincent. Everything that man has designed has been a HOT MESS!! He should have been gone a LONG time ago!

Michael is becoming one of my favorite designers. I didn't like him for awhile because he was so cocky but now he has a reason to be cocky after winning two times in a row!

Jeffrey...Boo, you are not that talented! As Laura stated, "If you are that talented, then what you are doing on the show?!" EXACTLY!!

I love Kayne and I am rooting for Robert...glad he wasn't boring last night. I can't pick my top three yet for Fashion Week but I should be able to after next week.

Oh, and I can't stand Angela or her style. She sucks (except for the INC challenge when she won with the help of Laura and Michael)!

In the words of Tim Gunn..."Carry on!"

I absolutely LOVE Michael....if I had to chose right now the top five...

1. Michael
2. Kayne
3. Laura
4. Uli
5. Jeffrey
6. Angela/Robert, I think Angela will win simply because Robert seems as though he is scared to step out of the box. He appears to not have confidence in his own talents.

Top three...

1.Michael
2.Uli
3. Laura
no doubt....

Jefferey's designs are boarderline grunge..If he were to try other styles he might get more headway with the judges. Michael, Kayne, and Laura are so diverse;I love this combination. Honestly, if Jeff could "rework" his approach he might beat out Kayne....

For the record, Michael is not gay! lol Now, Kayne that's gay! If he and Robert don't stop wearing that pink lipgloss.......lmbo
edit because of Uli lol

you all are forgetting about Uly (or however her name is spelled). That chick is a great designer.

Although Vincent is a little kooky, I like him in the same way that I like Chicken George from Big Brother

Uli is ok, but her stuff always looks the same- her model is forever needing a bra that just won't fit under those dresses.

I see why Alison was auf'd quite frankly. WHAT was she thinking with that styling? The dress was big and ugly and yellow and looked like a papier mache project. Vincent's did too, but at least it was ever so slightly more 'pretty' to look at. And then the styling- a big yeloow bow made of hair? Daisy Duck all the way (as pointed out by Blogging Project Rungay)!

Vincent sucks, and it's too bad he stayed, but I can see why, this time.
