He was acutally in Austin the other day, visiting the convention center and talking to evacuees who are staying there.

Well, family morals are importants, but people are dying because of malnutrition. Impoversiherd families are working 2 to 3 jobs a day to make ends meet. Put yourself in someone's shoes who is poor. You'll see the point. In fact, I saw Feed the Children weeks ago, and I heard that a father killed himself after struggle to make ends meet for his wife and his children. Are you saying that you have no sympathy for the poor? Not everyone is the same, Rudey.

Bush Accepts Blame For Poor Katrina Response
Admission Comes Just Days After Accusing News Media, Critics
Louisiana Death Toll Climbs To 423
(CBS) WASHINGTON President Bush Tuesday took responsibility for government failures in dealing with Hurricane Katrina and said the disaster raised broader questions about the government's ability to respond to natural disasters as well as terror attacks.
"Katrina exposed serious problems in our response capability at all levels of government," Mr. Bush said at joint White House news conference with the president of Iraq. "And to the extent that the federal government didn't fully do its job right, I take responsibility."
The admission comes just days after accusing the news media and critics of the administration storm response of "playing the blame game," reports CBS News White House Correspondent Peter Maer.
"I want to know what went right and what went wrong," the president said. "I want to know how to better cooperate with state and local government, to be able to answer that very question that you asked, 'Are we capable of dealing with a severe attack or another severe storm?'"

The best part of this post is that it will fly completely over most peoples' heads. Fantastic post.

if it does, then i truly question the intelligence of the general community of this board. but somehow, i doubt that people would actually be dumbfounded at something that rudimentary.

Just a thought here as I don't want to get involved in this thread. I feel stupid after reading it. There are goobers on both sides of this debate.
But maybe you shouldn't tell people to not be rude if you are going to call the comments that others make stupid ass comments" or something of the like. As far as I know that's not all peachy either.
In any event, I have more money to make and a consulting job in China to think about.
