I just got off the phone with the president of Epsilon Iota at Newberry College in SC. The chapter took 8 new members last night in Formal Recruitment!!! And, they already have plans for COB and a list of ladies to invite the events!

Zeta Tau
The Zeta Tau Chapter at UNCA had 6 girls pledge from round one of COR and 5 more will be pledging Sunday night. That is a 75% increase in our chapter's size.

So Iota Theta just extended a bid to a 7th girl, and she gladly accepted. YIPPEE! And, this makes our record breaking membership number. This is the first time Iota Theta has ever had 12 members. YAY!

Pardon the crash. I'm not an AZD, but I go to Kent. Your Beta Tau chapter took quota of 15+3 COB for a total of 18 girls.

Zeta Lambda just finished today
14 PNM went through, 10 went AXiD!!!!!!
Zeta Lambda has basically doubled their chapter size! TWU has minimal recruitment so there is no quote but I'd say we got more than what quota would have been had it existed!

Im from the theta beta chapter at sonoma state! originally we had 42 girls in our chapter before recruitment. this recruitment was the most intense we have ever seen! 200 girls rushed!! we only have 3 sororities on campus. by the time preference rolled around we managed to have the most girls put us first on their lists...soo many girls put us and only us that they had to be dropped all together because they never put down a second choice and we could only take soo many...quota was 38 and we took 40!! we had three legacies go through this year and we got two of them!! which was pretty amazing as well...the other sororites also met quota but we are officially the biggest greek organization on campus!! with 82 girls now!! going from 42 to 82 in one night is intense but we rocked recruitment and everyone wanted us!! we are definitly moving toward the number one spot on campus...message me if you want to know what our round themes were..they are what really got our girls...they were soo cute...we cant even do cr...we got so many girls...and our shirts we amazing too!! i cant get over how amazing our recruitment went for us!!!

good lord, you did GREAT!!!! Congrats on doubling your membership. Perhaps they need to look at raising total so you can pick up some of those that didn't get a bid?

The intense thing is...they did raise quota so that everyone could take two more girls....but when then matched everything up the remaining girls all wanted us...in fact 12 girls got dropped from preference because they put us and only us with no second choice...we got the two when they raised quota...but we couldnt take anymore..it was sad...70% of girls who went through recruitment put us first!! and not only that but girls who just pledeged in said that girls werent putting us first because they heard everyone else was and they thought they wouldnt get in. Crazyness....I feel like it should have been explained to them better...but what can you do..we got amazing girls..and next year will only get better...now littles is our next issue...we dont really have enough girls to even take littles!

Some of the sisters will have to take more than one little. I would advise that the sisters who can financially and emotionally afford a little sister to coe forward to the NMOC so that she can keep those sisters in mind when doing the big/lil placements.
Also, dont forget to utilize your alums. SOme alums would love to help donate funding, or supplies to the chapter to help out with big/lil stuff.
