I still would've swapped California and Kentucky at least...and swap Florida and Illinois.

Agreed. I still don't understand how Miss California got so far!

The fun part is, I called the last three on another board - before they were announced!

Miss Maryland should have gotten into the top 5. She was stunning.

Some truly hideous dresses in the evening gown competition. Miss Pennsylvania's =

Congrats to Miss North Carolina though.

Congrats to Miss North Carolina though.
I think Miss Pennsylvania left most of her dress at home. Did anyone else think that Miss Texas' dress was kinda odd? I expect more from Texas, I guess.

One of the reasons I really liked Miss Florida was that she had started her own construction company - that's no mean feat!!! And yes, I liked her dress & hair.

I love being on the west coast, I really didn't want to watch the whole thing (and I mean this seriously, I'm glad I could read the answer here).

But OMG WTF was Miss Pennslyvania wearing!!!!! I just saw it.

Michigans dress looks like a grandma dress (ie to old for her)

I was at my ex-husband's house after getting the kids into bed, waiting for him to get home from class so I could come home. He came in when they were doing the winners and I said to him "North Carolina has the lowest cut dress and the highest slit, so she's going to win" just before they announced the winner! I did like her a lot though. She was beautiful and very poised. She seemed most at ease with the questions portion. Congrats to her!

I don't think we can expect much more from a woman who answers questions like this:

"What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years?

I frequently donate lots of clothing and shoes to local thrift stores and Salvation Army stores in Philadelphia. I donate at least three to four times a year."

BWAHHAHAHAHA!

I just looked at the Miss USA website and they have photos of the ladies in their gowns. What was Miss Pennsylvania thinking? Her evening gown reminded me of Princess Leia in the Gold bikini outfit from "Return of the Jedi" (I am a closet Star Wars geek...)

Being the total pageant geek that I am, I thought I recognized her last night--wasn't she in the Miss America Pageant a few years ago???

Was it me or was Miss USA '04's dress just a tad bit too revealing??
