A TOAST TO ALPHA SIGMA PHI

Well, here's to dear old Sigma Phi
Fondest memories you'll recall
For you we'll fight
We'll live or die
We're for you the first of all
We're with you ever right or wrong.
We're as true as sky blue sky
Blood grows warm and hearts beat strong
When it's 'Here's to Alpha Sigma Phi'

From coast to coast our hearts are bound
Link'd with ties which never break
A Sig's' a Sig wherever found
a brother's part he'll always take.
We sing of college life and pals,
May those friendships never die;
But, boys a toast to our 'Old Gal,'
For we love you Alpha Sigma Phi!

COME LET'S GATHER

Come, let's gather once again
and sing a song with spirits bold and high
From our lips the praises proudly ring
of dear old Alpha Sigma Phi!
We'll pledge our hearts, our lives, our love
as in the happy days gone by;
Let the words that ever linger near,
be the name of dear old Alpha Sigma Phi!

We have one that goes like this:

I'm a drunken Kappa Delta
I love my Tangueray
I drink my Johhny Walker
and Bud Light by the keg
I get drunk on all occasions
I'm as happy as can be
So fill er up
Slam er down
I'm a Kappa Dee!

The sorority girl staple:

Drink a beer!
Drink a beer!
Drink a beer like a XXX can!
If you can't drink a beer like a XXX can, then what the hell you doin with a beer in your hand?!?!

And I would like to state for the record that my sorority does not promote drinking for anyone under the age of 21 and we certainly do not promote drinking excessively, only in moderation.

One of the fraternities here has a toast they do, I don't remember it exactly, but here is what I can remember

"Here's to honor
to getting honor
to staying honor
and if you can't come with her
come honor!"

(requires pronunciation)

Chug a beer
Chug a beer
Chug a god damned beer
If you cant chug a beer like a XXX can, then you shouldn't have a mother F'n beer in your hand!

"Here's to brother _______, brother _______, brother _______, Here's to brother _______, who's with us tonight.
He's happy, he's jolly, he's horny, by golly!
Here's to brother _______, who's with us tonight!
Drink, motherf*cker! Drink, motherf*cker! (repeat until the drink (cup, glass, bottle, can or keg) is finished)
Here's to brother _______, who's with us tonight!"

That's the one I've heard most around here...maybe a few differences...and with girls it always seems to be "take a shot" instead of just drink...

Not that you hear it that often from girls. Like someone said, double standard...girls just can't do things like that. It's usually the guys.

Ours go like that sort of
Here's to brother __________, brother __________, brother________, here's to brother _________, who likes to drink beer. He's happy, he's jolly, he drinks beer by golly! Here's to brother_____ who's with us tonight.

And it ends like you told said, except instead of "drink motherfu*cker" I've heard...and while we are waiting, we could be masturbating,

Drink mother ducker!

Thank you to the ODU rugby team for that one!
To the contrary, my good man..I've always heard:

If the ocean was whiskey and the _(GLO)_ were ducks,
We'd swim to the bottom and drink our way up.
But the ocean's not whiskey and we aren't ducks,
So grab an XYZ and give her a good....hug!

Sometimes you can replace the last word. Depends on the company.

toast

toast we love to do at our chapter up here in Canada:

Here's to the hole that never heals,
the more you rub it, the better it feels.
Syphilis, gonorrhea, aids and lice,
we've had them all by Jesus Christ
Gentlemen, to the Queen!

I like this one as well, but we have a different variation of it.

Here's to Honor
If you don't have honor, get honor
One you get honor, get inner
Once you're inner, come inner
If you can't come inner, come honor
TO HONOR!

vulgar....yes.......said in a drunken state making it hilarous - absolutely!

Here is one we do , called "To Honor" :

Heres to honor
I offered her me honor
She honored my offer
And all night long I was on her and off her
So heres to honor, casue its better to be honor than off her.

send the pledges out for gin
and don't let a sober active in (hey!)
we never falter we never fall (hey!)
we sober up on wood alcohol (hey!)
were the men of Delta U
and we're getting drunk tonight (ALRIGHT!)

Not one of our usual songs, but popular in my Dad's time and still sung at my chapter, usually when one of the brothers goes on active duty or is called up from the reserve or guard. Would also be sung if someone "buys the farm".

"So stand to your glasses fellows,
and raise your drinks on high,
a toast to death and glory,
and here's to the next man to die"

It sounds grim, but it is really a hurling of defiance into the teeth of fate. I understand this goes back to the Spanish-American War and has been sung ever since in several of our chapters.
