Thinking of more toons...

Classy Diva, go to www.tvparty.com and you will find a section devoted to Romper Room, complete with video clips from the show and comments from former child viewers. Oh, and you gotta see the clip when Miss Molly? is talking with one of the kids about gun safety. The kid is talking about how he would handle a loaded gun!!!!!! I am like "What in the world???!!!"
Lemme know what you think

I tried to explain it to him and he was like ... "Uh ... yeah, Daddy ... whatever. Lets talk about Rugrats!"
Sigh ... I'm getting old.

I remember Tennessee Tuxedo, and I'm in my late 30s.
Other kiddy show favorites: Hair Bear Bunch, The Bugaloos, Will the Real Jerry Lewis Please Stand Up, Lance Link Secret Chimp, Josie and the Pussycats, the Archies. Many late 60s-early 70s stuh.
Today, and I'm embarrassed to admit this, I caught a glimpse of something called the Big Comfy Couch. It was cute. But Saturday Night Live parodied it, when Derek Jeter guest starred.

Yup, you sure need Boomerang. I have it and couldn't stop watching for like a week. All of these cartoons, except Wheelie and the Archies are on Boomerang. They even have one of my favorite cartoons, the Shirt Tails! Each Saturday they show cartoons from a different year, for example last week was 1982! You'll definately like Boomerang.

My favorites were Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, Charlie Brown, and The Superfriends.
Bugs Bunny- He had absolutely no care in the world.
Roadrunner- Now that I am older I have to give Wild E. Coyote his props for putting up with the Roadrunner for all these years, I would've had to leave his "rump" alone a long time ago... he plays too much.
Charlie Brown- That teacher kills me the way she speaks"Wonk, wonk, wonk, wonk, wonk". Has anyone ever been able figure out what she's saying?
The Superfriends- I don't care what anyone has to say, I loved me some Wonderwoman. In Kindergarten I dressed up like her with my red boots and my "magic lasso". Shoot... I went to school and did damage, you couldn't tell me I wasn't fabulous.

I have realized that I can't watch cartoons any more! Have I gotten to old, it just all seems the same to me, I already know what is going to happen.
But I can say I did watch recess and pepperann like last year!
