Nu Beta leaves this evening to help with the SOA Softball tournament. I won't be going because I'm sick but PM me if you want to know more!

Nu Beta had a great time helping with the SOA Softball Tournament. The Ladies of Pi Beta Phi won the tournament. The other Greeks were very supportive! I know our girls had a great time and loved everyone they met!

I just read the article UA has online about the conolization and i am soo exicted for you all! UA is such a WONDERFUL school(not bias now am I) They had there rough patches with DG gone and then PM coming in and going out (Which i am still sad about because forcing a freind of mine to go alum) but they are sooo pumped up for your arrival. The house that your building is in a great location. Cross the road from Carnal hall which has been restored to amazement.....congrats from a UA alum! Now we just need Alpha Phi there and i would be one reallllllly happy alum!

Thanks CP! I know we're all looking forward to a long and successful relationship with Arkansas.

But you're still not getting any silly pig sounds out of me. GO BIG BLUE!

University House use to be owned by the DG's and then occupied by Phi Mu. That is such a great place to hold conlonization at because i just think the house is very beautiful. However , when PM left i dont know what UA turned it into so i hope they still left it the way it was ....good luck with colonization parties

I read an article in the Arkansas student newspaper about that house. If I remember correctly DG donated the house to the university, but with the caveat that should DG come back to campus, they get their house back! Very generous and very smart!

Hog mom

Hey all, just thought I would drop you guys a note. My daughter is really looking at AOPI at the U of A. The first of the parties begin today and she is excited to see what the turn out is. My best friend works in the building where the organization is working out of, and has said nothing but amazing things about the people of AOPI she has met thus far. The opportunities are so very exciting to the potential new members being the first year on campus. The house AOPI will be building from what I hear is going to be simply AMAZING.
I will post information as I get it from my BF and DD just to let you all know whats going on.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Welcome, hang around and we'll keep you posted as we hear anything good.

But trust me CP, you won't get me doing any hog calling, no matter how much I love AOII!

1 day (party) update

The first of the Parties went great. I think originally they were not expecting very many last night because the dorms were having meetings, But there were at least 65 girls that showed up( as my friend said "at least 65 because I know I had 64 chairs set up and we ran out" and all but 2 girls set up interview appoinments......SO everyone was excited with the turn out.

My daughter LOVED it.....she is very excited for the week to progress.
