Hey, I have an idea: post a pic of Bush in his cheerleading skirt, then we can DELETE THIS THREAD!!! Sound like a plan?

Interesting that you feel that us greeks up here in Canada aren't "real Greeks"...

Anyway, you read too much into it. I don't really care whether or not you're a Republican. I just enjoy mocking the poor spelling and grammar of others.
<sigh>

What i was pointing out, and pay attention munchkin, is that she was talking about "boasting" about being a "communication major".

That was inaccurate, as i was neither boasting in that thread, and said so in it, nor was i a communication major. But, on GC, we don't really disagree with what someone types as much as we disagree with them based on whether or not we like them.

I voted for Mel Martinez as Senator, and I'm not a registered Democrat. I could offer you a copy of the absentee ballots I've submitted in the past two years, as I usually make a copy for my records.
I apologize. The idea of having Bush for 4 more years didn't upset you and make you attack people. Bad spelling did.

Pretty much, yeah.

I'm a grammar and spelling snob, not to mention about 1,000 other kinds of elitist.

After returning from fall break in Cancun

Money is tighter now. If I was going to college this year, I would feel really bad about asking my dad for the money. We also had al ot of girls have to leave chapter because of parents losing jobs or lack of discretionary funds for their use.
After returning from fall break in Cancun, driving a nearly new car and with a 36" color TV for his room, one of my brothers announced that he couldn't afford to pay dues. He had to save up for the Bowl game trip to Pasadena.

But before it dies I'll post my rant!

So we're all going to hell in a hand basket. We'll be waging a meaningless and unjust war for 4 more years at least (which is appearantly what some people on this board think is right); Abortion rights will be repealed; our deficit will become greater (which is amazing since we are already at a record high); our foreign relations will become nonexistant b/c we are the 'U.S. and we don't care about no one,and we don't need help from no one!'; our president will probably find some other random reason to wage war on some other country, and as long as he gets the propaganda right, all the southern/midwest, conservatave, good ole boys will eat it up, just like they did this time. Hell, he rode this ill-concived war straight to victory b/c of the atmosphere of FEAR he CREATED. And at some point I'm sure he'll decide that a good alternative fuel source will be baby seals, but god forbid if he funds stem cell research. bush is dumb as a box of rocks, and he continues to prove it, and anyone who thinks he's responsible for making policy is insane; he's a puppet. He's not intelligent enough to come up with some of these things. What upsets me the most, is that the people he's screwing over the most, like the middle class and the military, are the ones who voted for him overwhelmingly. People crack me up. I don't care what he says, he CANNOT represent me b/c hes not my president. My president may have been a Giant Douche, but at least he wasn't a turd sandwich.

(mmm...tasty)

If you want to promote the future of the greek community you
should probably vote for Bush and any other tax lowering candidate in federal elections.

Republicans and some fiscally conservative democrats are pursuing a tax statute that would help greeks. Currently, if you gave money to your house corporation, you would not get a tax deduction. Donations for house improvements are not excludable under the IRS code.

This new proposal would allow donations for greek house improvements to be tax deductible, which would help out the greek community tremendously. It would increase alumni involvement.

This proposal made it through the house, but not in time to get it
through the Senate. The house will have to start over with the new class of representatives in January.

A Kerry regime would not approve of such a proposal because they want the taxes to pay for their social programs. And who gives to fraternities? So called "rich" people. Those who care about the greek community.
