I bet at least one of you (I'm not talking about LS6) voted for Bush!

There's a theory that a lot of black folks voted for Bush this time around......because of religious reasons.....and want to keep hush-hush about it.

FESS UP!!!!

LOL...Gyrl please, I would keep a crack head laced up for the next four years rather than vote for Go'ge Dubya Bush......No doubt a lot of folks of color did vote for him for "religious" reasons, and I bet some of these preachers couldn't pay him enough to sit up and listen to their sermons on any given Sunday.

Secondly, since it doesn't seem like the knuckle heads who helped vote his tired arsh in office in y2k learned anything, I hope he flips the script on them and does EVERYTHING contrary to what he said he would do for good during his debates.

Lastly, it's not being about a sore loser, it's about reality and Bush is a sore on the face and minds of humanity......I okay, I'm done, aint eeeeeeven gone say nuffin else.......

Oh wait, to Ninja Poodle......I was considering the St. Johns Part of Canada myself.......

Thumbs down

I hope that this election does not prevent anyone from continuing to vote if the election did not turn out in your favor. We have to realize that as of right now, African-Americans do not have a real voice of leadership in politics, but Kerry would have helped us more than hurt us like Bush (Sorry Republican Advocates). Keep in mind that voting is your key to turn our country around. Look on the bright side... Bush won't be President after 2008.

I PRAY that this election, these debates, the CLOSENESS of the race, showed him how SPLIT the country is and that he will take heed to our message and do something, anything about it. I PRAY that he uses these four years to make his presidency count for something, anything. It scares me to think of what could happen, but I'm PRAYING for the best.

We need to unite as a country, for better or worse, and do our part to make it just a bit better...even on GC

I agree with this ENTIRE post.

You haven't found me in any of the election/politics threads because I don't discuss politics with people I don't know, and for the most part...even though I like most of you guys, I don't know you. One thing I have also learned is that I don't engage in lengthy debates on MESSAGEBOARDS with people who don't share my views, it's futile. I really could G.A.F.F. about what some chick with an imaginary fanclub (or any other person) thinks about my political views..therefore I have stayed away.

LS6, I really wish that you seek help. Evidently you are searching for acceptance or validation on these boards and you are going about it the complete wrong way. I do not agree with 90% of what you post, but I do not challenge you because those are YOUR beliefs. I do not force my beliefs on anyone else and it's something you should try...it makes for a less stressful life experience. Now I know that you are good for drawing people into debate with you...but whatever you think about my post...please save it, because I will not be responding furthur to you.

Good point, but I don't think most people will be able to though. That alone will make the next four years interesting.

I doubt if its a surprise, but I voted for Bush this time (for various reasons, including but not limited to things such as religious morals/values).

I don't know if I should be really flattered or really offended by that.

Cool WOW.

I'm so glad so many of you dedicated so many of your posts to me and the positions I take. And thanks to those that PM'd me to actually "discuss" your issues instead of trying to turn this into another "ALL ABOUT LOVE SPELL thread." Im not on this board trying to earn anyone's respect or play nice just to make ya feel better. 99.99% of the folks that post in the DST and AKA forum feel the same way re: the President...I am the one person that disagrees, and you all can't handle it. I know you say its "the way" I say things...but that's not always the case. I could go dig up numerous posts that prove my point..but I won't because its no point. Its actually quite hilarious to me. CT4 you moderate everything that I say, but when others say comments to me, its cool...cause you agree.

Its a given that if Scary Kerry would have won..there would be so much gloating and "rubbing it in" it wouldn't be funny...but again..since that serves yall's agenda...thats cool.

I believe a couple of you said you'd be praying for me...and that's great, I never refuse prayer. I just hope you're praying for yourself too.

Yep. you're right. A lot more black folks voted for Bush than will ever admit it...because they can't take the ridicule and questions about their allegiance to their race yada yada yada that comes along with it. Everybody isn't as strong as me

Trust me, I do not moderate everything you say. There is not enough time in my day to do so. I have bettter things to do.

I let them say what they say to you because I know a lot of these people have held back in the past.

Had Kerry won, I would have simply said: COOL! NEW Prez yada yada yada. I want to see what Kerry does now that is up on presidential deck. That's it. That's all. My total faith is not in the men that walk around here on Earth but on THE MAN that created heaven and Earth.

If you don't like GC or the atmosphere here, you can always leave.
