And ilovemyglo--like you, I wear at least 2 bras to work out and cannot fathom sleeping without one on.
Cosmetic reasons are just as valid, IMO. I was walking to a bar last Friday a block from my house. On the way there and on the way back men leaned out of their cars to make LEWD comments. Not Hey baby, Not yo mamma-- VERY specific comments, VERY rude comments about my chest. This drives me CRAZY, I mean do they think I'm gonna stop and go, yeah baby, let me whip em out? Puhleeaze.

Yes. We do think you should whip them out. Could you also post some pictures so the rest of us could see what the fuss is all about?

I haven't had it yet-
I have switched companies three times in the past year (finally staying put) so I am going to the doctor (again!) with my new insurance in October.
He was referred by my OBGYN and she said she's seen his work and it is good.
I think they are taking over my body.
I was really sick recently and dropped about 15 pounds (i normally weight about 118-125) and I realized just how unproportioned they looked.
My boyfriend just looked at me and said "they have to hurt!" and I am thinking THEY DO!
So this Christmas I am hoping to get them off!

One of my pledge sisters had the surgery one breack and showed me her scars. (I'm so squeemish...) I'd really love to be smaller but I'm WAY too chicken. I've got such a deep rut in each shoulder from my bras. Maybe because I haven't had a proper fitting in years - I'm somewhere beyond 34 DDD. That size seemed to fit best, but since I'm not the same size on each side, fitting "best" still ain't "fitting". I hate it when the clerk says, "Oh try a bigger back size." No, then the boobs fall down under the underwire!
Let us know about your experience with the surgery!!

My mom and grandmother want me to get it done. I'm trying to loose weight, I'm hoping that as I do I will loose at least one cup size (I'm a DDD right now).If I don't loose anything I might consider getting it done.

I have a DD chest on a medium sized body. I'm going to try to lose a little weight, but I can't lose that much without being too small! I've seriously considered reduction, just because clothes are hard to find (especially suits and nice clothes, and I'm going to be a lawyer!) and I hate it when guys just stare at my boobs. It's definitely an option. I think it can really help some people.

I'm 5'1.5" and a 34DD. I already have back pains constantly due to an injury I got nearly 8 years ago. The weird thing is that even when I lost weight, my boobs still grew. I really want to get a reduction (I wanna be a C cup) but my mom is really against it.

i'm trying to get the ball rolling for one now. i meet with my pcp next week and i need a referral for the plastic surgeon. i've been praying on it and i'm hoping that it all works out. i would REALLY like to have it done soon, before the school year starts (i'm a teacher) but i may have to just get my ducks in a row for winter break.

At least 2 bras? From now on, I am only going to date girls that wear at least 2 bras. I know this one girl that should wear 2 or maybe 3 bras. Her boobs are so freaking big. When she is having sex, tits are flying everywhere. You need to wear a football helmet with a plastic eyeshield for protection. Her bras remind me of the stuff sack that goes with my sleeping bag. Her tits are about 4 times bigger than the bra and her bra is huge to begin with.

I know at my school it is a popluar thing for all the girls in sororities to get the breast jobs, wheter it is going implants or reduction. A few of my friends got them reduced and never been happier. One of my friends actually got them reduced three times to get the right size. I know i am a guy, and boobs are key, but your health is more important then to look good
