My office would like to request a cocktail watercooler in our area. Votes are undecided on what cocktail yet. I sent a memo around, should hear back COB.

Does this mean my office should NOT send a memo requesting that office supplies be replaced with ones in their favorite color?
Perhaps we need a staff meeting to find consultants for these needs?

I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating so I don't see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.

Um yeah...I'm going to need you to email me that reminder to email the memo on Saturday.
I'm also going to need you to email that memo to everyone on Sunday too...we've got a whole new group coming in and they'll need to catch up on everything.

We're gonna need to go ahead and move you downstairs into storage B. We have some new people coming in, and we need all the space we can get. So if you could go ahead and pack up your stuff and move it down there, that would be terrific, OK?

Made me spit out my watercooler cocktail. lol.
Being part of the financial dept, it seems that we are spending much more than we are making. Any idea on if any of the work is actually getting done?
As for moving people to the storage area, great idea. I think it will def give us more space for other things.
Anyone up for some shopping for some new office furniture? Im thinking of grabbing some shoes as well, I hear some sales are going on.

We can save some expense dollars by not plugging them in. I mean, how warm can the water get?

OK it's been brought to my attention that some of you are taking liberties with the company dress code, so we're going to have a presentation by the HR director to remind everyone what is appropriate in the work place and what isn't.

Should a consultant be consulted for this dress code policy?

Are there discretionary funds in the budget for a consultant?

Oh, and excuse me, but who's cost center will it impact? I don't have a line item for consultants.

Project Time!
No consultants are necessary for the dress code meeting.
We will be "making over" people who do not meet or surpass our dress, hair, makeup and nail requirements.
Get ready people. It's going to be a blast!

Me either, we're still holding out for new colored office supplies.
