Nicknames

I've been called Honey or Honeychile since I was a child, courtesy of being the youngest child of two youngest children (I have first cousins with children older than I!). My elder brother's friends all call me Baby or Baby Sister, which is getting a little tiresome! In school, I picked up Fluff Queen, Fluffy and other derivatives when my hair went completely fluffy after a bad hair day.

The Brothers say I've been given a nickname--but that cannot yet tell me what it is. Apparently I already earned it like the first week of pledging, so I really have no idea what it could be.

My only major nickname is Scandia.

My Alpha Phi Omega nickname was "Nordic Track". Similar reason.

My childhood nickname was "Gigi". My cousin could not pronounce my name (nor my mother's, nor my brother's). And the way he pronounced my name was "Gigi". So that stuck as my childhood nickname.

I've been Belle since jr. high in New Jersey - and after Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" came out it's just been worse - I'm a real bookworm.

My best friend in highschool was Jess. So, since we were both Jess, I was Jess R. and she was Jess B. Now that I'm married, I'm also Jess B. Good thing she's getting married next month...although I tried to tell her that she had to marry a guy who's last name started with R to make the change a complete 180.
