If I remember correctly, L&O has finally surpassed Hawaii Five-O as the longest continuous-running crime drama on television. (H5-0 ran for 278 episodes from 1968-1980, but did not generate any spinoffs.)

Wow! I can't believe how well Law and Order has taken off with this age group! I thought I was the only SVU fan! My parents and sisters love the original, but I can't get enough of SVU! I also got the DVD sets that both came out. My boyfriend also gets a big kick out of how much I like the show! However, I have found that I can only watch 4 episodes by myself before getting completely freaked out! But, it is the best!

But then at the end, she was alive, yay!
That was a good episode, and a good way for her to leave the show.

I miss the Law and Orders that have Miss Carmichael in them. She's so hot.

I'm really interested in seeing how the new guy is going to do. But I'll probably compare him to Briscoe, even though there is -no-comparision. I don't care how good the new one is. There will never be another Briscoe.

definately one of the best shows ever.
I'm looking forward to SVU's premiere as well as the Original L & O.
I think Dennis Farina can do a good job on the Show.

I love that show. I was actually turned onto it by one of my Sorors who would kick me off the phone and call me at every station break . Now I throw her off the phone!

I'm a little confused
I thought the guy who was after Alex was from Colombia. I remember them going on his boat and finding blood in the center of the mattress. Where did the Irish guy come from? I also missed the first thirty minutes.

Irish guy was a hired assassin. The show asserted that the Columbians were hiring IRA killers to run narco-terrorist schools in Columbia.

Oh my god!!! I so agree. Last night's episode of SVU was awsome. I was wondering if they were ever going to mention Alex again...and they did!
I so agree, that little boy was so adorable. Although, I did think that he was going to get killed. I was so happy when he survived.

I got sucked into L&O last year (regular and SVU). Now I watch the re-runs on USA all the time.
I missed the first half hour of SVU last night, but it was great to see Alex. I wish I had caught all of it!

I enjoyed last night. I have been seeing a lot of the previews for Law and Order, Trial by Jury. I am looking forward to it but I am going to have mixed feelings about seeing it
I miss the hell outta Jerry Orbach

Has anyone heard if they are going to play the episodes that Jerry Orbach filmed to Trial by Jury? I am pretty sure that I heard somewhere that they had already filmed three of them.
Last night was great! I made my boyfriend wait till it was over to start watching Ray.
