just thought i'd let all yall know i'm really going to pursue this greek shop in boston. my aunt lives up in boston and she's going to help me get this started. she used to own her own business so she's going to be a huge help. also, i've emailed MIT greek system to get their opinion on the subject. they think it's great. they'd love someone to open a shop in boston. wish me luck!

Good luck with that! If your store can cater to locals, you may just have a whole chapter to do business with.

Thank you thank you thank you! I'm figuring I'll cater to the locals of MIT and BU probably. I've really been excited about getting this started. my next big step is to write up a comprehensive business plan. This could be an issue seeing as how I don't have the first clue how to do this. I majored in Mass Comm. not business. oops! no biggy though. I have resources for this.

Hi Shelley~

Just so you have them for any specific planning, here's the list of organizations I have on note at each school (according to MIT and BU's websites). This might not be a complete list, though.

MIT
~~~~~~~~
Has a page: http://mit.edu/life/category/lg.html#links
The organizations are down the page a bit. Also check out some of the other society links at top, as there are some academic ones listed on other pages.
BU
~~~~~~~~~~
Anything recognized by the university is part of the Students Activity Office. Their page of organizations is: http://www.bu.edu/sao/orgs/name.html

Hope this helps.

Try going to a local Greek store.. they'll usually have all kinds of bags, and they embroider Greek letters, names, anything on those bags. Everyone at my school just goes to ours. That way you don't have to worry about getting it embroidered yourself.

You need a "/" before the second "color" and don't put any spaces around "[" and "]".
