They sold peanut butter cookies up here in Canada for a year or so before deciding that it wasn't a good idea due to allergies. Cookies sold for $3.00 Canadian a box back in the late 90s. Don't know how much they are now.

These sneaky cookie peddlers were at the Metro station by my hotel when I was in DC and they were sooooooo very good!

Heck, I thought emaculate conception was the new way to go on having kids! LOL. Jeez, how can these parents of those little girl scouts be so dumb? I guess I just expect too much of people by expecting people to use just a tad of common sense. I guess when these girls don't know anything about sex and sexual orientation, they'll either come home one day pregnant or with an STD and confused about who they are. If their parents won't talk to them about this stuff (which I am assuming they're not by the way they're acting), then, who will? They're going to have to learn about this stuff sooner or later. Hopefully it won't be when they have a disease or pregnant or confused about their feelings.

How interesting - we only sold ours for $3.50 a box. I wonder if some troops bump the price up a bit to make extra money? Mmmmm......

I think Cutiepie2000 is saying that they're $4 in Canada (Canadian dollars, of course) for a box of Girl Guide cookies. Am I right?
($4........they were $2.50 when I sold them in the 80s)

In our area (Bellingham, WA) cookies are $3 per box. I like the PB sandwich cookies, Somoas and Thin Mints

Each council, (states are broken up into regional councils) can set their own price, depending on the average level of income of the region.
They also get to choose the selection of cookies offered, except the Shortbread, Peanut Butter Sandwiches and Thin Mints, which are ALWAYS sold. I miss Samoas.
I remember when our council raised the price from 2 to 2.50, in 1993, now they go for 3.50.

So I discovered in DC that apparently everybody except Wisconsin calls them Samoas...they are "Carmel Delites" here.

I see no problem with what these parents are doing. You don't like something, don't support it. NOTHING wrong with that. They have a right as parents and people to decide where theie money goes, period.
