LOL @ the memories to this thread
Tonight I have to chaperone a school dance -- have not done this in ages but it is homecoming, i am the advisor to student council, etc. etc.
Yesterday I was talking to a few students and they were talknig about a rival school's mascot and how he/she was donig the
"CRY BABY". They kept saying man he was doing the CRY BABY really good and stuff of that nature. Finally I asked what the CRY BABY is and one of my cool white co workers groaned because she saw the performance.
CRY BABY: lay down on the ground and you are POPPING REAL HARD!! So I said well that sounds like it should be called MAKING A BABY and not CRYBABY!!
Sooooooooo tonight let me see anyone get ready to position themselves for the CRY BABY and I got something to make them cry

LOL, Is is done to the "trigger man" beat along with any other bounce song ever created?

Well, the Peanut Butter Jelly is out to be replaced by the K Wang. Florida people are forever trying to make up collective dances! I like this one though. The song is by some Tampa chick named Khia (she has one other song out too, but I am sure it is purely regional...MUCH too nasty for me to elaborate on here!). She sorta describes how to do the dance in her song, but the dance itself is real basic. Do any GC'ers have an idea of what I am talking about?
Curious if any new dances are elsewhere also...what's going on?
P.S. Exquizit, I don't think I replied to your post from WAYYYY back about the PB&J, but there IS a song to accompany the PB&J dance, those are the words from the chorus. I guess it must begin and STAY in FLA, lol. Thats why I said SOUF (rather than South), because it is seemingly strictly for the Floridians. Also, there was a Haitin remix to it to accomdate the large Haitian population in South Fla.

My Neck, My back............
That song is catching like wild fire out here too. Ewwwwwwwww!!!! I'm like "No, this heffa didn't!!!" They'll let anybody make a song, and they'll let them say ANYTHING. Not to be graphic but is she talkin about Oral? I haven't heard the RAW version.

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about.
I hate the Kang Wang, the dance and the song. It's like the dance that people who can't dance do. I really don't like it. Here, at FAM, whenever there is an event, i.e. fashion show, dance recital, pagaent, the DJ has to play that song and have a Kang Wang contest on the stage. Whenever "Lights, Camera, Action" comes on, everybody has to Kang Wang wit it. And, it might be a rule, but whenever you do the dance, you have to say, "Kang Wang wit it, Kang Wang wit it."
Uggh, I can't wait for this to go out of style.
P.S. For anybody who doesn't know what the Peanut Butter & Jelly looks like. In Trick Daddy's video "Shut Up," the little boy who dances in the middle of the football field is doing the Peanut Butter & Jelly. That came out about three years ago and it hasn't died yet.

HEY
Are you guys talking about that song "We Ballin boy?" Talking about "What you know bout them Chicago Boys? What cha know about them Cali boys?" cause at the end, he says "Peanut Butter and Jelly" about 3 thousand times and I was like "what?" but I know what he's talking about now.
GIRL DON'T TRIP! That song by Khia is the NUMBER ONE song requested at my station, and it just came out here! I think it's ghetto as all get out. And we have the EXTRA CLEAN version and it still sounds nasty. All the ladies call for it!

I don't think so. The PB&J song that I have heard a million times doesn't talk about anything but the PB&J. It's one of those dance songs that gives you the instructions on what to do i.e. Cha-Cha Slide.
It goes "Peanut Butter Jelly, Peanut Butter Jelly / Do the Peanut Butter Jelly Peanut Butter Jelly, Peanut Butter Jelly, with a baseball bat / Do the Peanut Butter Jelly Peanut Butter Jelly, Peanut Butter Jelly, with a football catch."
There's another part that goes "Now sissy walk, sissy walk" whenver everybody starts to model and act like super-feminine gay men.
It's a hot azz mess!
