I dunno how that one works....

We had a seriously fun rivalry going during the subway series though. That was SUCH a good time to be in the city, lots of energy all round. We went out and she wore her Mets shirt and I was in my Yanks apparel, natch. People were pleading with me to show her the error of her ways, lol.
She's a Mets fan - how did that happen????
Lol @ people wanting to show her the error of her ways. The subway series is always fun!!!

You cannot blame the Yankee's, just the fact that money has ruined the sport. Plain and simple.

If by ruining you mean more people now watch the sport, players aren't exploited by owners, and the game has become more competitive then maybe.

For those Red Sox fans who will never say 'Die!' here's something from the Weekly Standard:

Red Sox Lose Recount

Rudey, Marlins in 6....just watch.
I just noticed this post - funny isht, we need more Rob Deers, hitting under .200 and bashing over 30 home runs.

You forgot about Teddy Higuera and Gorman Thomas.

Haha, I knew you'd like that.

I gotta respect the fact you know your baseball, even if you hate my team.

True baseball fans - there just aren't as many out there as some people would have you believe.

Yes, baseball - Americas pasttime, have to love that! Its not so much that I am a Marlins fan, because I am not - I just don't like the Yankees all that much. Man, their history is awesome, lined with many of baseballs greatest - but sometimes its just not fair. You'll never see the Brewers, Devil Rays or the Expos in the Series unless they can get some cash. Until baseball does something about that, you'll see the Yanks. deep in the playoffs every year, and that gets borrrrr-ing.

Congrats to the marlins.

Speaking of money, will Billy Beane ball ever work in Oakland? It almsot seems as if everything has to go right for a low spending team to win it like Florida has.
