pirepresent -- try getting your pledge sister to remove the word "bitch" from her post. Then we'll talk.
phisigduchesscv -- "posting very actively in the rush forum" =/= 14 posts.

PhiMu, I'm sorry that my post rubbed you the wrong way and I thank God that I'm not a Phi Mu now (especially if all of your sisters are as bitchy as you are). All I wanted to know was experiences that everyone else had gone through during initiation that may be considered hazing. I also needed to know what to do if I was going to be hazed. I HAD looked at all the websites I could find and I KNEW that hazing was not tolerated, but that still didn't tell me anything. Like I said before, I had heard rumors around school about hazing occuring during initiations and I was worried about it. Excuse me for worrying about my own safety! That's besides the point...while I was reading, someone stated that sorority hazing differs from fraternity hazing because the girls' is more mental than physical. I totally agree. I'm PROUD to say that I am currently pledging with 5 other girls to Phi Sigma Sigma. We're on our third day of pledging and there is so much stress already. If this is considered hazing, it's definately mental. I don't feel threatened or in any danger, but I think it's very overwhelming. Sorry if I offended anyone with my post, but I wasn't looking for personal information about anyone. It was just a general curiousity but I don't need anyone's help now. I'm pledging and I'm proud. Whatever happens in the next few weeks, I'll deal with between our pledge class. Luckily, I now know where to go if I start feeling uncomfortable and I won't hesitate to do so. PhiMu, I hate that you think so poorly of me after reading one post of mine. I was extremely nervous and I agree that it made me sound stupid. Fortunately, I'm NOT. I am a year behind everyone else in school because I skipped a grade in junior high and I still am able to hold up a 3.9 GPA (which I'm very proud of!) I hate to sound so blunt, but I'm not stupid and I'm sorry you don't like me. Thank God I'm not a Phi Mu.

Ok seriously i take offense to what is being said about phi mu, just because one girl seems bitchy doesnt mean the whole organzation has girls that are bitchy. Second if you are gonna be hazed or in the mist of being hazed you should take that very seriously. Most people are not willing to talk about there hazing experiences. Not one person said u were stupid about u worrying about being hazed. But then again u shouldnt worry about it because it shouldnt be happening and if it does and u dont like it you should leave. I have many friends in phi sig and i think they would take offense to u one asking a question about being hazed because it more or less is giving a thought to people that it is possible that ur chapter does haze and about saying anything bad about another glo. Sorry if i sound like im being bitchy but u know according to you its cause im in phi mu.
Pinkship i also sent u a pm explaining myself a little better.

All I have to say on this matter is that Phi Sigma Sigma has a hazing policy that is posted on the national website and is in your vision/reflection manual AND you had to sign off that you had read the policy when your signed your new member paper work.
That being said if there is any sort of hazing going on or you feel at all uncomfortable TELL SOMEONE PLEASE tell your SDC or your sapphire sister or whatever because this is NOT tolerated and I HATE to think a chapter of my sisterhood would haze MY new sisters.
I also have to say though that being a new member is a bit overwhelming, and stressful but should also be enjoyable, teach you something and help you really feel a part of the sisterhood. ! Have fun ! and LITP !
