My rho chi just called me! She said so far, there are 51 girls signed up, and they're hoping for a total of 80. I'll meet her on Thursday. Any ideas of things I should ask her?

why did you rush? What should I ask each sorority?
What do you like about greek life. What would you change (not hate, hate is bad)?

Ok, slight change of outfit plans. I tried on the ultra cute peach sweater with the pink/peach paisley skirt, and....it looked really good standing up, but when I sat down, I was afraid the seams might bust!! So.....Thursday, for the orientation thingy, I'm wearing a pink striped (diagonally, I'm not ballsy enough to wear horizontal lol) with a nice pink tshirt. Friday, 1st round open houses, a red peasenty skirt with a nice black tshirt and black slides. Saturday, 2nd round open houses, black flowery skirt, black shell/tank toppy thing, and black cardigan (it's a twinset), with red slides. Sunday, skit day, khaki skirt, blue boatneck sweater, and really awesome black/brown heels (the highlight of the outfit lol). And Monday, pref day, my black dress w/drapy neck, black heels, and my fruity scarf. Does it seem like I'm wearing a lot of black? That's just what I usually buy I guess. I need all the slimming effects I can get! lol Not sure what I'll wear on bid day, I guess I'm afraid if I plan for it, I'll jinx it, and I'll end up not needing the outfit Does cute jeans and flip flops sound ok? Also, I'm afraid that they won't have a bid day shirt big enough for me! What will I do if that is the case? Take all my bid day pictures in some random tshirt? I hope not!! Tomorrow at 1, I'm going to an informational meeting thingy, I'll post what happens!

sweetie, they always buy larger shirts for the new members. a friend of mine who went pi phi weighed maybe 115 lbs sopping wet came home from her bid day in a XL long sleeve tshirt. she was swimming in it. they will definitely have something to fit you, and chances are that it might be a little big even.
your clothes sound really cute!!!!

Your post made me really happy! That's something I've been subconciously worrying about, but I bet I'm just nitpicking to find something to bother me!

I honestly wouldn't worry about the bid day shirt. I know my chapter orders a ton of different extra sizes. I guess worst case scenerio one of the sorority actives could give you one of their chapter shirts. But, like I said, that's worst case scenerio. No worries! Just relax and enjoy rush. BTW, cute clothes!

I just got back from the informational meeting, and it went so well! I got to talk to the Panhellenic president (she's a biz major too, and was telling me which profs to take), and a bunch of the rho chis. I met mine and she seems really nice. They showed some outfits for each day, and I feel like mine will be fine, if not even a little dressy. I'm also feeling much better about the size issue, because a few of the rho chis were on the large side. Also, I thought it was awesome, cause in the slide show, there was a picture of a girl wearing a 311 tshirt, which is one of my favorite bands in the whole world! All the rho chis I talked to seemed impressed, cause i asked about quota and the new member period. They said I was on top of things. Of course I am, everyone on GC is helping me out!! I'm feeling really good about this week, and my nervousness is excited, not apprehensive! Eeeeeek 3 more days!!

As of 1pm today, there are 54 girls signed up. My PX said they're aiming for 80 by Friday. I guess they have a lot of people sign up at the last second. Not me! Oh, and I just got back from getting my eyebrows done. They look great!

speaking of
I really need to get off GC because I am so addicted but I wanted to read your thread since you are reading mine
I went last week to get my hair cut and it turned out horrible. I was so upset I almost cried but then, I called the salon in desperation and they set me up at another location with this guy and he ended up making me look 100 times better. Although I went to get my eyebrows waxed a couple of days ago and my normal girl who does them wasn't there, so they don't look as good as usual. Oh, the stress!!!!!!!!
I think I am going to try to go back and have her clean them up!!
This is so exciting!
I am sending you so many positive thoughts!!!!!!!

I SO know what you're going through! Last week I got my hair cut, and the chick just about butchered it! The sides were all uneven and she feathered the back! AAaaaahh! So, I went to this other guy, and he totally fixed it! He's my hair savior, and I'm pretty sure I'll go back to him. Yesterday, I got my eyebrows done. The chick did a really good job. I love getting them done, it just lights up my face and makes me look younger! I sure am getting excited! What are you planning on wearing (if you want to tell)? My outfits are posted earlier in my thread!
