they market themselves as Reggae, I'm sorry I have no tolerance for people like that who claim Reggae cred and aren't. Shaggy has tried to claim Reggae cred and I remember Sean Paul saying that he was representing Reggae everywhere. Give me a break, give me a song with substance and meaning.

Trust me, they are Dance Hall artists, but you will have to go to the Reggae section of a music store to purchase their album.

"Crazy In Love" by Jay-Z & Beyonce. OMG! NO!!!!!!! It's on every two seconds. The only real purpose this piece o' crap song serves is to infuriate me when I'm working out and make me run faster.

KC & Jo-Jo - "All My Life" Ahhhh!!!!! I hate when they say, "Allll myyy liiiiffeee....(baby, baby)" That part irritates me so much. I hate that song.

OMG GUY......GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The sad thing is that I know all the words to it b/c they play it like every 20 min. on the radio @ work...
"Is there any way that I could stay in your arms?????" <<gag>>>
Yes! That's the song! It reminds me of "the most sensitive man in the world" part from the movie Bedazzled.

At first, the song sounds kinda sweet. And then, you start to think "hey, this guy has issues. and I think he might be a unich" By the end of the song (if you make it that long), its like "shut up, you f*cking pussy. Yo' woman doesn't want you because you're a whiny wimpy girly-man."

The only time I've ever known a guy to cry on his bed is when he's been really really really drunk and he's not quite sure why he's crying, but it probably has to do with being drunk.

Reggae isn't supposed to be about getting girls, clubs, and whatever they sing about. Listen to Bob or Ziggy Marley and you'll find out what Reggae is supposted to be. Not top-40 radio friendly crap.
I really agree on this one. I grew up listening to the Marleys, Peter Tosh, Buju Banton, etc. I like Dance Hall, but I think it's unfair to classify them as "reggae".

Now if only I could just figure out what Eek-A-Mouse was saying...

My Immortal - Evanesence...I like them but the more I hear that song the more I start to hate them.

Toxic - Britney Spears...it's like nails on a chalk board.

Anything and everything by Jessica Simpson!

Hey Ya - Outkast...I really like them and the new album is great, but they have got to stop playing this song every 5 minutes! (same goes for The Way You Move)

Still In Love with You - Sean Paul

Come Clean - Hilary Duff...she sounds like she has a cold.

I think that's it for now...I'm sure the way the radio over plays EVERYTHING I will be back with more songs I can't stand.

What a fun thread!!!!

Anything by Britney, Christina or Justin has to go. THANK GOD the radio station I listen to doesn't plan a damn thing from them.

The Celine Dion song from Titanic. I will admit that at 18, when the movie came out, I loved that song. But eventually it just got so overplayed in 1998 that I hated it. I started hating it then and I will continue to hate it now.

Anything by Macy Gray. (I just don't like her as a singer, sorry to those who do)

ARGH!

Y'all need to come to sacramento. You don't know the definition of overplayed until you listen to the radio stations hear...

My Immortal from Evanescence used to be my favorite song on the album. Now I skip right over it.

Toxic from Britney as well as Me against the Music... heard those songs WAY too many times during greek sing this year. BAD SONG CHOICE!!!

This love by Maroon 5. It was never my fav song on the album and the fact that they made it a single makes it even worse.

anything by nickelback or the calling or any other band that sounds like the singer has a sore throat... or trying to impersonate eddie veder and bono.

the reason by hoobastank... yeah i really liked that song the first 50 million times i heard it. now i wake up to it every morning.

can't stand matchbox 20...

jessica simpson's version of take my breath away and then of course with you. also heavily overplayed.

in da club/hot in herr/gigalo - so tired of hearing these in the club circuit.

I'm pretty much anti-Top 40. It seems like the in the past 6 years or so things on the top 40 lists have gone from mediocre to downright awful. I totally blame Clear Channel for this. Anything by Britney, Jessica, any boy band, most of your "mainstream" hip hop artists, etc. Not to mention all these whiny ass bands like Blink 182 that appeal to the high school demographic. Give me some indie rock and I'm a happy little girl.

I think I pretty much hate all the songs that everyone listed...except for DMB and Britney.

I also hate "someday somehow, I'm gonna make it alright but not right now"

And anyhting be Celine Dion...some ass clown keeps playing some CD of hers at work...UGHHHHHH!

Well if you are, then so am I. I think P. Diddy (or whatever the hell you want to call him...the artists formerly known as nobody) is a talentless hack. He can't come up with anything original and it's because of him I hate that new song by Mario Wynans.
