Theta Mu's Initiation is tomorrow night!!
We will be adding 11 beautiful women to our chapter!

With 11 new sisters we are only one away from total. I also just found out that the other national sorority is also at the same number: 34. Which is exciting because they have never ever been at total and we always hit it. Which means maybe one day total might be higher than 35!! woo hoo

I can't wait for Initiation!!!!!!!

oh just a question...has anyone ever initiated just one member before? I'm asking because since we are only one away we still have the oppurtunity to give someone an experience of a lifetime: membership into the awesome sisterhood of Phi Sigma Sigma

but we are waiting till spring to see...because there might be a chance of someone going alum so then we could recruit for more than just one spot.

Thanks for you input

We are currently putting through one girl. We are just really all going through our new member period again with her so she can feel like she has a group with her. She will be a great asset to the chapter so we are excited to have her.

When I was MOC/SDC I had one new member go through. She ended up being Initiated during the summer. Although I wished she could have had at least one other person with her, she did very well. Her Sapphire Sister helped her out a lot... And I'd like to say that I did too...... But that's just tooting my own horn. hehehe

We have done it. It is an interesting experience, but both members who did this had good experiences. Then again... we are a small chapter, so we kinda see it as normal.

Talking yay!

Yesterday Delta Epsilon initiated 14 of our new members!

It was so great to be back in town and to go to inish - esp since i was getting that jilted alum feeling the last couple of weeks (which turn out to be just in my mind)

I probably won't get to go to the 2nd initiation this semester because of my grad studies taking up my time so it was nice to go to this one.

Also just after inish when we were doing our sisterhood, an alum came by with her new baby (1.5 weeks old) so we all cooed over Phi Sig's new legacy

ah, great times.

New Members!!

Just wanted to brag about my chapter too!

Theta Sigma has just initiated 11 new members!!! (which is huuuuge for our campus) These women were such a great force to the chapter. I just became an alum this past spring and I am so proud of the progress my chapter is making. I have never been prouder of them and to be a Phi Sigma Sigma.

LITP,
Katie

We initiated 1 woman at the begininng of the semester right after formal rush, I wouldn't recommend doing it right after formal rush... but having a class of one isn't too horrible.. I mean it's worth it to have her cause she's great... so why not ? and because of the formal rush rules etc we couldn't hold her over until fall.... as long as the chapter really gets behind her it should be fine...

Well last Friday we initiated 5 women. It should have been 10 women total but there was some mess up with paperwork and CO only gave us permission to initiate 5 (how come a 21 year old needs a parents signature on the FOHF?) Anyway the other 5 will be initiated this coming Friday with two others - so as of 11/21 we will have a total 12 fabulous new sisters in the Iota Gamma chapter for Fall semester.
