ZChi,

From the sounds of it Mich plays just like LSU. One week they play crappy and the next week they blow everybody away by playing a flawess game of football.

After the Tenn game of Saturday, if we keep playing like that, then we'll actually have a chance of beating Florida in the SWAMP next week. If we played like we played in the UAB game, we're dead.

The quarterback makes all the different. In the UAB game, there didn't seem to be whole lot of consistency. Against Tenn, Davey could do no wrong(except in the fourth quarter) Our defense has to get it together if we are going to make some noise in the SAC(Sorry A$$ Cinference)

So sorry, so sorry. But we definitely gotta get it together...fast!

Yeah Prospectiverushee, we've been playing real off and on. Sometimes we got it, other times we don't. Luckily, we've only lost 1 game. If we wanna stand a chance to the rest of the peeps we're bout to play, we need to get outta this funk of playing good sometimes and playing like crap the next. It's so frustrating. I wish I could just get out there and run the plays myself!! LOL!

How many teams from the Pig Pen are in the top twenty five now? The Pac 10 has four or five I think. Anyways I told you MIAMI(FLA) is my favorite team. They beat up #1 Florida State Last week.

C'mon now, you Miami fans are getting out of hand. There wasn't any beating up going on! While I was as happy as ever to see that kick sail wide right, (hey, that was good for VA Tech, plus I can't stand FSU) that was a very close game! And Miami did BLOW a 17 point lead. I still think they did a very good job. Miami won't be beating VA Tech on November 4th, so all of you Miami fans celebrate until then! LOL

Maybe there is something in the air in Baton Rouge. My alma mater Southern University (SWAC Conference) isn't playing too well this season either. For all who don't know, LSU and Southern are both in Baton Rouge. Nevertheless, I will always be proud of the Columbian blue and gold "in downfall or victory!" Go Jaguars!!!!!

Ms Ann,

You have never lied when you said there must be something in the air here in Baton Rouge. What happened to Southern this year? Don't they usually dominate the SWAC every year? As for LSU, let's just ssay that the team that showed up for the UAB game 2 weeks ago was the same team that went to the SWAMP this passed weekend. How can you bet Tenn one week and then completely break down against Florida the next? Oh well, at least basketball season is right around the corner.

GO TIGERS! GO JAGUARS!

Prospectiverushee,

Yes, we have been dominating the SWAC for years. This year, our team is almost all freshmen. We lost a lot of our offensive line and almost ALL of our defensive line after graduation last Fall and this past Spring. I have faith that Pete Richardson can bring them up to where they need to be for next year. If we can just pull off the Bayou Classic, everything will be all good!

No, West VA is actually having a good season! Thay are 4-2 now. (Losses to VA Tech and Miami). So they are doing pretty well!

The first half of the game was very intense and I would say I was shocked that we were trailing at halftime. I think that it was great we were trailing, because it obviously lit a fire under our teams butts, didn't it?

The second half was the team that I know and love (Even though I would still cheer if we were losing) I believe that if VA Tech beats Miami (and I think they will) they will run the table and be in the National Championship again!

Yeah, Mike's the man! Wrap up the Heisman baby, cause it's going to Blacksburg!! LOL. Did anyone see him downfield blocking for Andre Davis on Thursday night? Now that's phenomenal, cause most qb's just stand there after they hand the ball off.

However,I would like to add that, contrary to popular belief, he's not our whole team. VA Tech is good without him, but we are SPECTACULAR with him! The special teams and the defense of VA Tech have always been rock solid. My sophmore year in college our defense regularly scored more touchdowns than our offense. The special teams are so good, that poor punters actually stand there shaking before the ball's snapped. VA Tech leads the nation, in not only blocked punts and kicks, but interceptions too.

Anybody who didn't watch the game, should watch some of the highlights on http://espn.com . It was a great game and even the announcers seemed to be in awe, lol.
