Did Kellee the Delta named at the beginning make it to the final 32? I wasn't able to identify her all of these nights - did I miss her?

I was so happy Frenchie made it - started tearing up!!

I checked the Americon Idol website and I could find no mention of her. However, I do remember seeing a girl named Kellee Renee during the auditions.

However, here's some info on everyone's favorite Girl Frenchie Davis:
Age: 23
From: Washington, D.C.
Favorite Song: I have too many to write only one
Idol: None

Do you have a job?
Not currently.

Do you have any formal singing training?
Aside from the one voice class a week I take at Howard, no I don't. The class is called Voice for Musical Theatre.

Where have you performed before?
In the university productions of Ain't Misbehavin', a revue called Black Broadway and Timbuktu! Also a production of Little Shop of Horrors and Jesus Christ Superstar in Germany.

When did you first start to sing?
I don't remember when I started, it's just been something I always enjoy doing. I didn't know how good I was
until high school.

What is your favorite song to sing?
"And I Am Telling You".

What is the first concert you went to?
Karen Clark of the Clark Sisters.

What is the last concert you went to?
Sade's Lover's Rock.

What other talents do you have?
Doing make-up, I have acting training, and I dance a little bit.

If you don't make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do?
I will go back to DC, finish my degree & graduate.

What are your goals in life?
To be the first full-figured pop star/sex symbol, and to use the power and money that come with that to open a performing arts conservatory in my neighborhood.

What album would your friends be surprised you own?
George Bizet's Carmen with Leontyne Price singing the role of Carmen.

What is the first CD you ever bought?
No Doubt, "Tragic Kingdom" I bought it in high school.

What is in your CD player right now?
"The Life" original Broadway cast soundtrack.

Who is your AMERICAN IDOL?
n/a

What is your favorite type of music?
I don't have one. I love so many. Jazz and R&B.

What is your favorite song?
I have too many to write only one.

Favorite male pop artist?
Prince.

Favorite female pop artist?
Madonna, Whitney Houston.

Favorite album?
Curtis Mayfield's "Superfly" soundtrack.

Who in the music world do you think your style is most like?
No one. I am unique.

Most embarrassing moment?
When I was performing in Jesus Christ Superstar and my heel of my shoe broke during the finale choreography & I fell on my butt, centerstage.

If you couldn't sing, which talent would you most like to have?
To be able to do ballet.

What has been your proudest moment in life so far?
Other than getting back in school after not having the money and not being there for a year, this experience has been the proudest moment cause I worked so hard.

What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL?
An American Idol is someone who sets trends instead of following them, and they are some one who can redefine what is idolized.

Why do you want to be an AMERICAN IDOL?
Because I want to be an inspiration to young girls and use my gift to do that & I believe that being an American Idol will allow me to do that.

Do you think the audition process was fair?
Yes, very.

Who is your favorite judge and why?
Simon because he is honest. Brutally.

Who is your least favorite judge and why?
n/a

What advice do you have for other hopefuls?
Just pray (to whatever God you believe in), and try your best to perfect your craft.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
People would probably be surprised to learn that I'm flexible & I can move well.
Who did you think was going to win last season?
I didn't watch.

If you could be a performer from any era, which would you choose and why?
A blues/jazz singer or Cotton Club performer during Harlem Renaissance.

Frenchie seems cool. Her and that other chick blew it UP! I am so glad they both made it. Even though Simon SEEMS to be placing an emphasis on appearance, he has let through quite a few people who don't LOOK like the "American Idol"...Frenchie, the big dude, Rick Astley...

I was SO glad they got rid of Sisqo, Jr. He was such a zero. He really thought he was all of that. Er? Uh? Hmm. No.

I am also glad they got rid of Marcus. He put the QUEEN in drama queen. "I feel threatened right now, so I can't be near him"

Equoia (sp?) is THE BOMB. I am glad they let her through.

What about ol' girl who acted she was in a ghetto funeral when the judges came into the room and told them they weren't going on. YOU FORGOT THE WORDS. You KNEW you weren't going nowhere, lol.

All in all, they have some true talent this year and it will be interesting to see who makes it through. I think that there is gonnabe quite a few record deals made, even for people that don't make it though. There are like 4 people that I think are really ready.

Is Rick Astley the guy who sung "the way you make me feel"? I was really feelin' his voice and the cute performance was cool too.

Last night's AI was funny!!! I was ROTFLMAO at that dude who called his mom and at that girl who hit the floor when they told her group that they were not going to make it to the next round. And then those party guys!!! Did they honestly think they were going to make it when they were out cutting a rug in Hollywood?!And what is up with every AfAm guy that was on the show that had all kind of sweetners in their tanks?? The only one that wasn't "sugary" was that big dude from Bama.

Last but not least: FRENCHIE!! FRENCHIE!! FRENCHIE!! Can that girl blow or what?? Even if she does not become the next AI, trust that she will have a record or TV or movie deal of some kind, OK??

I'll make sure to watch Tuesday's show and VOTE!!!

Angry

A hearty azz boooooooooo hiss for PATRICK'S DADDY coming out on stage to "stand up" for his son -- can we say VOTES just for that. IF I were Patrick, I would tell him later, don't YOU ever ever eva eva eva come out on stage like that AGAIN. I was pissed. I mean I know that will get him votes or whatnot but it was such a punk azz move. It's like the little kid who gets picked on by a bully and mama or daddy comes to the bus stop to tell bully to stop. HELLO!! Now the picked on kid will get picked on eVEN MORE!!

BTW, PAtrick has a decent voice but I am not seeing AI winner in him. He did a good job with Toni's song, but I am so not a fan of men singing a song that was originally performed by a woman.

My mom tried to argue with me about some others - when I reminded her that her girls Frenchie and Kimberly hasn't come yet she finally agreed - the others would not be able to hang with them at all.

What's up with everyone trying to give Simon lip? I agreed with him tonight - Trenyce has a great voice but I hated the song, Bettis was painful and Patrick- if you're not into gospel/church designs your style just wasn't happenin! Boo for trying to sing Toni again - BE A MAN!! Julia sang well but she turned me off with her hysterics last week with Kimberly.

Till tomorrow!
