Hi! Legacy question
I was a regular last year when my daughter went thrugh recruitment. I do not miss that stress. I'm fretting a bit for her friend today though. She's had a rough recruitment (aren't they all at Mizzou?), but went to her legacy house on Pref and loves it. Are there any houses that DON'T put legacies on the first bid list?

Hi beagled1! All of that info is secret to each house so i doubt anyone can say for sure. My guess is that her chances are very good, being that she is a legacy and went there on pref day. Fingers crossed for her--let us know!

Has anyone heard yet what Quota is at Mizzou this year?

I would also say her chances are really good. They say that if you go to the pref party and max options (if you only have one you are clearly maximizing) you *should* end up with a bid. Then add being a legacy.
I don't know what quota is, but my daughter said their chapter is taking 84.

Thanks. I actually found quite a bit of that info on several sororities' official websites, but not the one I'm looking for, of course. Thought it might be generally known. The wait continues.

If I read your post correctly, she should match to her legacy house as part of quota or as a quota addition (if the bid list is full by the time her name is listed) because she had only one Pref invite and she maximized her one option.

Congratulations to all of the sororities and their new members!

My daughter's friend got her legacy house! I believe she had a second house on pref, but I don't know how she prefed. Whatever--i think this is the last Mizzou PNM I have to fret about for a while. Thank heavens.

Congratulations to her! Wonderful news! I know what you mean--hate the waiting! I heard that one of my friend's daughters became a Chi O this am!
What a fun day for all of the houses and their new pnms. Looking forward to hearing news from kcmom! I know her daughter must be at the house she visited on pref day; would love to know what it is.

The waiting is over! My DD2 and DD1 are sisters by choice. I couldn't go to bid day but saw my daughter in the live feed shortly after opening her card and she was hopping. That is over the top excitement for her as she isn't a typica "peppy" girl! Soooo happy. I heard a few houses didn't make quota. Will have to wait for the official numbers to be published.
