the Libs are pretty much centre

The BQ are just a little to the left and the NDP are a further on the left)
When comparing Canadian and US political parties are RW parties still tend to be more left than US LW parties.

I'm a Progressive Conservative with Monarchist leanings

I'd say that I have liberal views but I tend to vote Conservative...because I can't stand the liberal party

I'm a super Liberal, who hasn't done enough homework to decide whether I should be Green or not -- so I'll go with Democrat for now. However, growing up (and registered to vote) in Kansas, I am changing my registration to Republican just so that in the next primary in two years I'll be able to make a bigger impact on the political process (so I can keep them damn right wingers out).

When I go back to SA in June, I'd like to join. I'd never heard of it. At St. Mary's, there is a club called Student Deomcrats, or something similar, but there is no formal Republican group on campus.

For our Canadian brothers and sisters, I know you obviously have different political parties than Americans do but please post anyway

Ok, one of your Canadian sisters will chime in here.
I think if I had the privilege of voting in the US election, I think I would probably be more Democrat.
I am socially Democrat and fiscally Republican.
You guys (i.e. Americans) need something that falls right in the middle of those parties.

What election is that?
Georgie only ascended the throne of presidency in January 2001.
