Soror, Grey Goose is good. But I also suggest Hangar One, Charbay and Van Gogh. Van Gogh's got a great wild apple vodka.

I love Appletinis. I found a bar that puts slices of green apple in them for garnish-YUM!

Lola's (the rumored originator of the sour apple martini) serves them with a thin slice of green apple as a garnish. If you are ever in LA, check out Lola's. I'm so over the place, but they still serve a great martini.

You and me both!! I LOVE the fact that on Fridays there is a bar in our downtown area that serves Hpnotiq for half price. I've had an Incredible Hulk (Hpnotiq with Hennessey, it turns green when mixed), although it was strong I really liked it. I'm a newbie also so my next stop is a Hpnotiq martini.

I've had Hpnotiq martinis w/Charbay grapefruit vodka and Charbay key lime vodka. The key lime, which is green, turns the drink into a nice turquoise color.

ST, is the flavor of the grapefruit vodka strong? I'm not really a grapefruit person, but maybe I'll try it sometime. Another drink that I like is Goldschlager. According to Webtender: it's "a Swiss clear cinnamon schnapps liqueur with 24k gold leaf flakes." Tasty.

The Charbay vodkas do have a very strong flavor. An alternative that is less sweet -- but cheaper and stronger with an alcohol taste -- is Danzka.

I've had Goldschlager. WOW !!! That will clear up your sinuses for a MONTH. And you can see the flakes in the bottle. Lilnikki's dad kept empty bottles of it in his room...
