For those of you who wear make-up

I have YET to find a foundation which truly matches my skin tone. (Even Sephora failed!) The only company to come close is Revlon (which I only tried because of spokeswoman, Halle Berry). And even it makes me appear either 'ashy' or 'muddy'.

I will have to try some of those that you all suggested: Covergirl's TruBlend, Trish Mcevoy, etc.

I wear Bobbie Brown foundation and the coverage is great. I've been using it for over a year.

I started wearing makeup in seventh grade and it was maybelline Since then depending on my budget LOL i've used Fashion Fair, Lancome, MAC and presently Clinique which I adored in college!

I LOVE Iman foiundation! I've worn the powder and the cream and I always get compliments. It can be a little tough to find sometimes, buit it is well worth the search.

I usually wear Lancome mascara and eyeshadow.

um clinque. whatever my step mom had on the dresser

At an early age, were you only limited to lip gloss?
no my father actually let me where lip stick and nail polish fairly early but I was a tomboy so I didnt really feel priviledged

now I just wear MAC powder on my face, eye shadow, mascara (when i have time to get into that) and lip gloss or chapstick always.

I first started wearing make-up my senior year of high school. I had just won homecoming queen and did not wear any to the dance at that time I was completely natural

My high school counselor (AKA) she was looking at my pictures with me and told me if I had some on it would of brought out my face and offered to give me a make over... Sense then I feel good without make up but I feel more confident and pretty with just a tad.

I think the first makeup I bought was covergirl

Restrictions?
My mom didn't really care, lol I would restrict myself before she would (she's a great mom just doesn't have to worry)

gross, tacky, 99cent store makeup. Wet N Wild or some mess. My mother doesnt wear make up and didnt teach me anything about it, so im sure i looked a hot mess.

At an early age, were you only limited to lip gloss?
For some reason my mother was pretty lenient on raising my sister and I but makeup/cosmetics/hygiene was a different story. I wasnt allowed to use a razor until I was 16 (Nair is the worst! its like leaving relaxer on your skin until the hair falls off) and makeup was a no-no. Just lip gloss and nail polish.

I didnt seriously wear makeup until recently, about the last couple years. Even so its just eyeshadow and maybe bronzer. I'd love to wear eyeliner but i wear glasses and never do it correctly.

Stuff from the drugstore (Almay/Maybelline/Covergirl).

I wasn't allowed to use anything other than lipgloss until HS.

My brand of choice now is MAC. I love it.
