I've lived in Fort Walton Beach, FL since I was born. After having lived in the same town for twenty years, it shouldn't surprise anyone that I LOVE to travel. In 1999, I moved (however temporarily) to Providence, RI...where I attend school. I will live in Rome for six months this year. After 2003...I don't know. Hopefully NYC, Boston, or SF. Or maybe I'll take the Grand Tour.

Born in Macon, GA.
Moved to Hanover, PA.
Then to Phenix City, AL.
Then back to Macon.
After college, I moved back to Macon for about a year, then moved up to Atlanta. I've been here ever since.

Let's see..
Born in Anderson, S.C., within shouting distance of Clemson.
Moved to Monroe, GA when I was 4. About 45 minutes east of Atl.
College in Carrollton, GA - About 45 minutes west of Atl.
Joined Air Force - lived in Lompoc/Vandenberg AFB, CA - about 55 miles from Santa Barbara.
Moved to Houston 1982-1986 (parents lived outside Baton Rouge, LA). Moved back to Georgia and have lived in Monroe, Stone Mountain, Norcross, Monroe, Norcross, Peachtree City and now Newnan...40 minutes south of Atlanta.
BTW, hubby was born at Elmendorf AFB, AK before it was a state, cause dad was in AF, then moved to Buffalo/Tonnawanda, then as teen to Fayette, Alabama (what a culture shock!!), grad school - U of Iowa, down to Houston, back to Bowling Green, KY, over to Lexington, KY, down to Vicksburg, MS, and THANK GOODNESS, Peachtree City and Newnan, GA! lol
Between the 2 of us, we have lived in or passed through about 85% of U.S....next I want to visit my AGD sis, OTW!!

Born in San Francisco, and have lived here all my life.
But, I have spent many summers in SoCal and consider that my second home!
Hopefully I will be going to college there.

Oh, that's so neat! Treasure Island is absolutely awesome. My HS rented the place to hold our masquerade ball there and it was great.

Petaluma! What a small world, lol. I have some friends who moved from Petaluma to the city (SF). They say Petaluma seems like a little world in itself, separated from the rest of the Bay Area. (?) Donno, never have visited that town myself.
I'm sorry that you had a bad experience in Northern Cali!
P.S. OTW, I'm so angry - I can't watch Days anymore! NBC recently changed their network station and heap loads of people in the Bay Area can't even get the signal...unfortunately I am one of them.

Born and raised in San Diego, Calif., October 1964 to August 1982. I'm not a military kid, however -- dad retired from the Navy a month after my birth.
Attended college in Los Angeles at University of Southern California, August 1982-May 1986. One summer, did an internship in Lizard City, aka Phoenix.
Back to San Diego after college/first job, May 1986 to October 1987. Back to LA, October 1987 to May 1989. In Berkeley, June-August 1989. Back to San Diego from August 1989 to April 1990. To Knoxville, Tennessee, April 1990.
Left Knoxville in July 1993 to go to Charlotte, N.C. In Charlotte from August 1993 to October 1994. Back to San Diego, October 1994 to October 1995.
In Las Vegas from October 1995 to May 2000. Since June 2000, split time between San Diego and Irvine, Calif.

Looks like I am the only Missouri person here...
I was born in Kansas City. We moved to the suburbs when I was five--at 14 moved to the next town over--
at 18 I headed to Northwest MO State in Maryville
and a semester later I transferred to Avila College (in KC), got married and still live in the same town I moved to when I was 14. And actaully I even live next door to my best friend since 8th grade.
Kind of boring life compared to some of you!!!!

Born in New Orleans, LA
Lived in Slidell, LA from 1980 - August 2001
In August, we moved to Mandeville, LA (another town about 20 min up the road from Slidell)
I spent one semester in NOLA for college (at Tulane) and when I'm at school, now I'm in BAton Rouge.
I hope to go to law school in NOLA. Can't stand BR...its so RURAL for a big city.

I agree about Baton Rouge! When my parents lived near BR, I was soo surprised that the road to the airport was sooo crappy and the terminal so small. I think the airport was expanded later, but crappy roads/small airport will always be my image.

Thanks. Yeah, its very cool. Wow, masquerade. Sounds like a lot of fun I was only 2 or 3 when I lived there so I really dont remember it. But a few years back my parents and I visited there. Our old house was actually still there. My mom had the nerve of having me stand in front of it to take a picture. I think my dad told me once they have an honorary marine corp hotel around that area.

I was born and raised in Manhattan. I attended a SUNY school six hours from the city. In1994, I moved to the Virgin Islands with my honey, where I am now.
