Wow WhiteDaisy, I am in love with these! So much nicer than Lilly and as everyone said, you really should ask if you can sell them. I'm learning how to sew and would love to make a ton of Theta Phi stuff to make up Lilly Pulitzer ignoring us this time, and I'm sure a lot of other groups would too!

I was going to try my hand at a Phi Mu design, but there's nothing for me to use except quatrefoils! I wish we had more symbols!

Soooo pretty! I bet NPHC has rules about using letters/symbols, etc, but WD128: can you try your hand at one for SGRho, with poodles specifically?

I'll give it a go tomorrow perhaps.
I know there are licensing rules concerning symbols, letters, etc. That's why I don't think I'll actually make any of these for sale, unfortunately...

Bummer. I would absolutely buy the SK stuff and gift my chapter Pin Pillows for their Bid Day baskets.

You might forward your designs to HQ and ask about permission to sell it - all they could say is no.

That's a good idea. I was investigating SpoonFlower some more and it appears that the "owner" of the fabric gets a 10% commission on all sales of his/her fabric...so I'm guessing HQs are going to say no...but it's worth a shot.

Or maybe they'll ask for a cut - perhaps if you suggested a donation to their foundations for every sale. It's such a positive representation of the groups - I think licensing is mainly about controlling the "brand" - i.e. what sorority wants their letters on a thong? - so I'll cross my fingers. I need Gamma Phi fabric!
