At our chapter we cant show shoulders.

Also, if its short we have to wear white tights.

As is if it even shows your calves,
it sucks

At my chapter, we have our pledge class president and vice-president select a pattern and the new members have a dress made by a seamstress over christmas break. we initiate the first week of spring semester in january, because we wait to get fall grades in. all must be floor length and have sleeves and come up high on the chest. you can tell which pledge class someone is in just by the style of their dress. its really funny actually, and although for some people it is kind of expensive, i really like how we do it.

As far as sigma kappa's wearing black during rituals thats untrue, they only wear black to de-pinning and white to everything else ritual.
