Hello everyone!
I am pleased to report that my mammogram and ultrasound are both negative! There are 2 cysts, and I have to go back in 6 months for another mammogram and ultrasound, in order for the radiologist to be able to compare the results. Thank you for your prayers, especially you AKATUDE!
Let us all continue to pray for all of those who continue to fight against breast cancer.

I'm doubly excited about this series of postings. I think its so important that we continue to make this board a sisterly community. And, in that spirit, we must lift one another up in prayer and provide inspiration.

To those of you whom are going through, remember that God can see you through as you are going through. And, the wonderful thing about going through is that you are going to go through...the Lord has promised that although you walk through the valley and shadows of death, that He will go with you (Psalm 23). May that knowledge comfort you. I'm a witness that the Lord is truly the one who keeps and sustains in spite of the circumstance.

I know that I have been through some things in my life time (now and when I was younger). I realize that GOD was with me every step of the way. I experienced a lot of things as a child and honestly thought that I was going to go crazy. I thought that I would not make it through, but GOD looked out for me! I realized how blessed I really am in my life even though I have my problems (who doesn't?). The people in my life right now helped me also realize that I am NOT alone. This post helped me to realize that even more. THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR MANY BLESSINGS AND KEEPING ME SAFE!

I also ask for your prayers. My friend's mother died on the 23rd. The 24th was her mother's birthday and the 25th was Christmas. My friend is also 5 months pregnant. I ask you to pray that she stay strong. Thanks in advance everyone!

My dad is in need of your prayers. He's currently in the hospital, on a ventilator, having suffered total kidney failure, bleeding in his lungs and a heart attack. God has blessed him with stability in his vital signs over the past few days, but as always, the prayers of the faithful are needed.

Today I received my results in the mail for the Human Resources Certification Exam. I am proud to announce that I can now sign my name and order my new business cards with the name "TempleAlum1993", PHR.

God is Good....ALL THE TIME. I know that HE was there with me during my preparation for the class as well as with me while I took the exam.

Hello Sorors, Sisterfriends, and other GC folx,

I would like to request your prayers for a missions trip I will be taking this month.

Specifics:

I'll be going to EAST AFRICA!!- Tanzania, to be exact.

I will be leaving on May 10, 2002 (this friday) and will be returning in June.

Prayer Requests:

- Unity within the group
- That the Lord be glorified in us
- That we accomplish what He has planned for us to do
- And that we have a safe journey and return

I would really appreciate it! And if you have any scriptures, advice, encouragement, etc. to give me, please do! (PM's are fine

Please pray for the family and friends of Mahogany Davis. Mahogany, a 21 year old woman, was stabbed to death on Friday night after coming home from the club. Mahogany had 3 children, the third she had given birth to just 3 weeks before her murder. As far as anybody knows, there are no suspects and no arrests have been made. Mahogany and I weren't close friends but we knew each other through mutual friends and were on friendly terms. I was just talking with her not 2 hours before her death while we were both hanging out at a local club.

This comes as a terrible shock to anybody that knew her. Please keep Mahogany, her family and her friends in prayer. Thanks.

I have a praise report that is long overdue. In the past five months I have bought a townhouse, and finally got my dream job (at least for now) as an HIV Prevention Specialist!!

Wonderful things happen when you keep God first! I am definately all about prayer and patience.

I don't have a lot of time, but I want to stop and send you all greetings from Mororogoro, Tanzania!!

It is beautiful out here! We are at the bottom of the Ulaguru Mountains, which we climbed yesterday. Anyway, just wanted to stop and speak.

I am requesting prayers for all of my Sorors who have unspoken or spoken needs. Also, those who are going through personal challenges as I am typing this, please lift them up with positive words.
