It is great--- I feel wonderful when a chapter sends me a personal note to thank me. There's a lot to be said for a personal, handwritten letter!!! It shows people care

I've sent a rec for Pam to my chapter, and am waiting for acknowledgement of its receipt. Since Pam is rushing my very own beloved chapter, I'm not going to post on this thread after rush starts or send any PMs to Pam. In the interest of fairness, I'll just have to "disaffiliate" from this thread during UT's recruitment. But I'll be lurking here!

I've got butterflies, dragonflies, a few grasshoppers, and I think I felt a bumble bee! LOL Yeah, you could say I'm nervous, but excited nervous. I guess that's a good thing, right? 4 more days here! Eeeeeeeek!

Oh, my gosh, you guys make me so excited for you!!!! I can't wait to read all about your fabulous adventures during recruitment! Try and relax a little...if you've ever thought about trying yoga or pilates, maybe give it a go now. A nice, relaxing yoga tape or just meditation might help nix the bumble bees in your stomach!

I'm definitly starting to get a bit nervous! Since I dont even know who my Rho Sigma is yet and I havent talked to her I dont think that it has hit me as hard as most lol

but Im sure starting next week Im going to be getting all sorts of nervous

I bet your Rho Sigma will call or something really soon. My rush is just 4 days away, and my PX just called today. When I was talking to her, I went all blank for questions to ask her. I felt like saying, "I don't really have many questions, everyone on GC has me so prepared, I feel like an old pro at this" LOL I really hope she doesn't sugar coat everything just to reassure us. I'd rather her be straightforward then to let us get false hopes. Though I doubt that would happen. I'm really hoping she'll be a great PX, she'll have to be to put up with my unfounded nervous energy!
