I hate the fact that it is not even Thanksgiving and the radio stations are already playing Christmas Songs like tomorrow is Christmas. I can't stand it!!!!

"Feliz Navidad" mainly because of listening to years and years of little children singing (screaming) that song at a school Christmas program.

the Hippopotamus song is near the top of my "don't like" list, so is Most Wonderful Time of the Year. But, my absolute worst is the one my 7 year old son sings... it goes like this:
Joy to the World,
Barney's Dead
I barbecued his head.
I totally tune him out after that line so I don't know the rest. The other one I hate is :
Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg,
The batmobile lost a wheel and the joker took ballet.. hey!
Why do kids have to screw up perfectly good songs?
Dee
ETA: 8 minutes after I posted this, I got in the car to leave work, flip on the radio and the Hippo song is on. I suffered through it, wanting to hear a fave and the very next song was.. MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! Unreal!

Candidate for Second Least Favorite Christmas Song:
Happy Holidays. I just heard it 12 times in 6 hours of driving. And here's why I hate it: "Whoopty-doo and dickory dock, and don't forget to hang up your stock!"
Truly the words of a desperate and/or demented lyricist.

I always get sick of "Jingle Bells" (minus the Mannheim Steamroller version). I worked for 4 years as the singing mechanical bears at the mall, and every little kid requested that darned song. I still can't listen to it 3 years later...

My Ex-BF loved Christmas music so much that he would turn the AC up full blast in the car in the middle of summer and play Christmas music...
UGH!

The TKEs here at Butler blare that song 24-7 in the weeks before exams. I love that song just for that reason, it makes me feel like it's actually Christmas time!

I hate:
1. Grandma Got Runover By a Reindeer
2. Carol of the Bells
3. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
4. Chipmunk Song
5. Most Wonderful Time of the Year (especially now, since it's become the Staples back to school song)

I have to agree here. Also, since DH has his own version with "adult" lyrics which he loves to sing, which IS funny, but not always thinking about where we are at the moment ( in the mall, around the daughter, etc.J).
Musicians make interesting spouses.

This may be a terrible thing to say, but I am soooo sick of "Silent Night" that I could scream. I just think it is over-played.
(yes, I'm an old crab - I feel the same way about "Amazing Grace.")

I love that commercial. That's what I'll be doing when I have kids, sending them packing to school.

The one I hate is this one version of jingle bells that they play at my work... it's like a jazzed up version or something... and at one point instead of singing the words "jingle bells" it has the sound of jingle bells twice and then the singers sing "bells." It has the affect of the B-I-N-G-O song little kids sing where clapping took the place of the each letter... (or at least that's what it reminds me of and I think it's STUPID.) I also don't like go tell it on the mountain... don't know why... just don't enjoy that one.

You don't even have to work retail; just go in a store.
Just 10 minutes in K-Mart on Friday had me Scrooging all over the place. (I know -- any time spent in K-Mart can make you do weird things, but it really was the dreadful "music" this time.)

I get nauseated at any "cutesy" Christmas stuff. Most of the traditional songs are OK.
