tau

Finished 3/5 (well, really 2/4) rounds at Tau and the reviews seem to be coming back really positive! R1a&b were on campus and we decorated our room with balloons and streamers and people loved it ... I guess not many other the other groups did decorations?

R2 was tonight and had a Garden Party theme which also went over really well...had a lot of compliments about the house!

R3 is Monday evening and Pref is Tuesday. SO excited!

(Oh, this if off-topic--but we got an affiliate from Delta Zeta-University of BC and she is really cool! )

Yes, last night's round was amazingly fun (even though I was on kitchen duty the entire time ) I will be back at the house for Pref.

Is the UBC affiliate a transfer or is she here for the year/semester?

I too am curious about the affiliate from UBC-DZ ... any more info?

Her name is Shannon and she transferred to U of T to go into the nursing program...she is way cool! She fits into our chapter really well.

Pref was tonight and it was probably one of the best we've had in a long time! I'm can't wait until tomorrow...this is the first time I've had a "rush crush" and might cry if she doesn't get a bid to AGD...augh!! I wish I knew now so I could either be really excited or deal with the sadness without everyone else seeing. Oh the joys and anxieties of Panhellenic Recruitment!

Tau results

Quota +1...meaning 8! They're all great girls and we're really excited to have them in our chapter!

I should also say, the Tri-Delta chapter at U of T had an amazing FR this year. Last year was not so good for them (I think they got 2 or 3 out of a quota of 7) but this year they TOTALLY owned! My rush crush went to them, so I'm a bit bitter...but still Panhellenically happy for them.

Congrats to Tau for making quota +1! Another stellar recruitment for you ladies. You make me proud

I am planning on attending Zeta Alpha's Pref on Friday night. After they are finished, I might go over to Alpha Beta (just a few miles down the road) for the end of their evening of activities. Thinking good thoughts about all the chapters that are in the heart of recruitment right now! May they all do as well as Tau did!

2005 Recruitment

I pasted the list of active chapters from the IHQ website. These NM numbers are what I've gleaned from GC and LiveJournal and do not include chapter totals. If you have info about other chapters, add it!

Zeta Alpha took quota!!!!!!!!

Zeta Alpha at Eastern Michigan (my chapter of Initiation) took 7, which was quota! Woooooohooooo! They were really worried because they lost a lot of members over the summer, but they were AWESOME at Pref!
