Maine Alpha~ University of Maine, Orono

Pledged~ Spring 2003

Status~ Active

Offices~ Censor, Secretary, VP Social Elect, Standards, Intramural Rep....

Why I joined Pi Phi~ The second I walked through the door to our beautiful house I automatically felt at home. The girls were laid back and very welcoming. Pi Phis at UMaine are a very well rounded group of girls and I just wanted to be part of their organization. I can't imagine my college years or life in general without my girls I love my angels!!!!!

Why I joined: I fell in love with the women I talked to the first day! It was pouring rain and I looked like a wet dog but they made me feel so comfortable!

Chapter: Indiana Zeta (Ball State University)

Status: active undergrad

Current ofices: Ast. Chair of Arrowboard (Sister Spirit Intrest Group)

Alum clubs in past or present: not there yet

Why did you pledge Pi Phi? I went through formal recruitement w/ an open mind and no preconcieved ideas of any of the sororities and Pi Phi fit the best with me. The woman who has become my big sis made me feel completely comfortable and like I fit in even before I got my bid. It is the best choice I have ever made. This semester, through some events, our chapter has become so much stronger. We love eachother much more than we ever have before. Every week, I look forward to chapter, knowing that I get to see so many of my best freinds all at the same time, in the same room, getting things done.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to join here. I am a Connecticut Alpha. I love being a Pi Phi and have remained active since I pledged in 1994. Currently I am the AAC Chairperson for CT Alpha, but will soon be the CPP for the Alpha province.

Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I'm a Pi Phi at the University of Michigan- Michigan Beta!!

Status- I'll be a senior this fall- 2004

Offices- I was junior panhellenic representative and vice president of the junior panhel board at uofm. I was also on Standards board in fall 2003. And now I am the Chapter President for 2004.

Why Pi Phi?- I absolutely loved the Pi Phi's while going through rush at UofM. I met a Pi Phi named Tina during 2nd sets and she was so great! I really felt comfortable in the house and everyone was very down to earth. And now that I am a Pi Phi, I have realized that I definitely made the right choice. I'm so glad that things worked out the way that they did. :-)

Talking HELLO

Hello Angels! I have been hearing tons about Greek Chat and I finally discovered the magic of it. I am rising senior member of Virginia Zeta at Virgina Tech. I pledged in Spring 2002. I am currently VP Mental for my chapter and last year I served as Community Service Chairman. I simply LOVE Pi Phi and don't know what I am going to do in May when its time for me to graduate being that I have lived in the Pi Phi House for THREE years! I don't really have a reason I joined a Pi Phi. I decided to rush because all the girls on my freshman hall were. But I that it was the best decision I have probably made in my 3 years at Tech. But hey "something unpredictable, but in the end was right."
