Wow, it's funny how I posted to this thread a few years ago! I now have a daughter (4) and a son (15 months). I did name my daughter Jordyn but my son is named after his father; Clarence.

What would you do if you wanted to name your son after you, but you wife, girlfriend, babby momma, or whatever already has another name in mind and she's adamant about using that name. The first name she has in mind is a good one, it's just not yours . . . .what do you (or other guys on the board) think about that?

My son - Khyree Elijah
My daughter- Kyla Cherise

These are my children's actual names. My husband and I love the name Khyree and Elijah is my husbands middle name. Kyla (aside from being such a pretty name) has the Ky and starts with a K like her big brother. She has my middle name.
