I've just got to say that for an AI, a significant presence in a particular geographical region isn't necessarily required. That's what's so wonderful about pursuing AI! You ccould potentially "rush" all 26 NPC groups from wherever you are (although, one would think that would be rather exhausting and time-consuming - thank goodness I myself have only been fixated on one group)!!!

Sorry haven't been on the board the last few days. We've had a lot going on.
I'm enjoying your guesses...this is what you guys get for addicting me to Rush Threads
I'm still waiting to find out my initiation date--the collegiate chapter here may not actually have an initiation date until fall, but we're waiting to hear back from them. I am meeting with the lovely lady who I talked to before today after school. We are all so excited that I will be a member!
I am amazed at your detective skills. So, without further ado, here is Clue #2
Clue #2
The original home was a founding home to two groups.

Well since Alpha Chi Omega and Kappa Alpha Theta were both founded at DePauw Univ, IN
My guess is Alpha Chi Omega!

hmmmm
for some reason I really think it is Phi Mu...
* she didn't say the stars "weren't" on the badge... she said they "may not" be on the badge, so that makes it possible that they are (that was a sneaky hint! it's almost the equivilant of saying "maybe... or maybe not ")
* twinkle twinkle twinkle little star (3 twinkles - 3 stars)
* Phi Mu has 3 stars on their CofA and on their badge
* Phi Mu & ADPi were both formed at the same school

That's just what I was thinking
And I'd love trojangal to be a Macon Magnolia!

Ok, so i've also been following this AI story...and even though I might not be in a sorority (yet) I do have some ideas.
I'm thinking either Phi Mu or Kappa Delta.
---- Phi Mu and Kappa Delta both have 3 stars on their crest
---- Because (like some of you said) Phi Mu and Alpha Delta Pi both were founded at the same school.
---- And Kappa Delta and Zeta Tau Alpha were founded at the same school.
So that is why i'm thinking either Phi Mu or KD.

I've been following all these exciting AI threads lately but I haven't posted. I was thinking it might be KD until this latest clue.
Clue #2
The original home was a founding home to two groups.
Yes, KD and ZTA were both founded at Longwood, but Tri-Sigma and ASA were founded there two. I think we'd have to eliminate all four.
Hmm, maybe Phi Mu is the one.
What ever group it is, I'm very happy for you!!

I think it's Kappa Delta, and here's why:
KD has three stars on its pledge pin - remember GCers - we need to look at ALL the insignia for an organization when we're interpreting clues, not just the insignia for active members.
Also, Kappa Delta and Tri-Sigma were both founded at Virginia State Teacher's College.

Let's see, founding for two groups
The Triad:
Alpha Phi
Gamma Phi
Alpha Gamma Delta
Farmville Four:
Kappa Delta
Tri Sigma
Zeta Tau Alpha
Alpha Sigma Alpha
Monmouth Duo:
Kappa Kapp Gamma
Pi Beta Phi
DaPauw Duo (even if they don't call it that!)
Kappa Alpha Theta
Alpha Chi Omega
Macon Magnolia
Alpha Delta Pi
Phi Mu
twinkle Twinkle Twinkle....stars...3 to be exact...on badge or crest..or insignia
a-phi, has stars, but more than three...nope
gamma phi...no stars anywhere
agd.....again no stars
kd....stars on crest and 2nd degree pin (maybe)
trisigma...no stars
zeta...no stars
asa...1 star
kappa...no stars
pi phi....no stars
theta...twin stars
alpha chi...3 stars (strong)
adpi....2 stars
phi mu....3 stars on cofa and badge (strong)
So narrowing it down:
Phi Mu and Alpha Chi Omega, I just can't do KD b/c of Farmville four, but I really want a KD AI damnit !
Now for chapters.....
Alpha Chi has 3 collegiate chapters and 1 in her city of residents,5 alumna chapters, 1 in her city
Phi Mu as 10 colleigate chapters and 8 alumna chapters
now if I read her username correctly, she went to USC?...if so (no logic here), I love Alpha Chi's house at USC, everytime I drive by it...I get chills and because for that reason, besides the others.....I am going with
ALPHA CHI OMEGA
but Phi Mu is really cool too
but what ever the org....you have found a home..woo hoo!

She might have gone to USC...but her location says Birmingham, Alabama...so I don't think USC has anything to do with it.

Okay my fellow GC detectives; these are the two schools with Greek Life in Birmingham, Alabama:
University of Alabama, Birmingham
Alpha Gamma Delta
Alpha Omicron Pi
Alpha Xi Delta
Delta Gamma
Samford University
Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Omicron Pi
Chi Omega
Phi Mu
Zeta Tau Alpha
**This should knock out DG (only chapter founded at the school).
** AXO and KD, there is not a chapter in Birmingham.
My guess is Phi Mu...
Either way, trojangel.. Congratulations.
