I couldn't get into last night's episode (that I watched this afternoon). Oh well, maybe next week I'll be more "into" it

Bwah ha ha ha.....ya, Mr. Driveshaft is getting annoying. They should put him back on TEH heroin.
I'm torn between thinking that Desmond is semi-hot and a stark-raving effed up lunatic. But his g/f's father is a supreme d!ck..not doubt about it.

From another message board I frequent:
The sign Charlie has propped in his guitar case when Desmond meets him on the street says "The Musical Stylings of Charlie Hieronymus Pace"
Heironymus Bosch was a dutch painter in the late 1500's whos subjects dealt with sin and moral failings. His work was highly imaginative using half beasts and demons. He was a dutchman also called Der Groots.
I think that kind of ties into Charlie's personality and what he struggles with.
If anyone remembers, the De Groots were the people who founded the Dharma Initiative. Interesting...yet more questions & fewer answers.

If its just scientific experiment gone wrong or something, I'm gonna be quite disappointed. Its like in Signs where I find out that it really is just aliens, how lame is that. Anybody can make a movie about such things.

I know what you mean... when The X-Files showed the animal-like aliens in the movie, it kind of ruined things for me. I hope Lost doesn't do something similar.
Anyway I feel partially responsible for Lost's bad ratings last week, because I went to bed at 8pm and watched the episode online in the morning. :-/
Oh and I am NOT excited for a Jack-centric episode next week. I don't like his character at all.

You are the greatest when it comes to pointing out details and lil' tie-ins.

Last night's episode was pretty lame.

^^^^^^ I guess because it seemed as if we really did not learn very much from this episode. It was like a 30 min episode stretched out to an hour.
Now, I've gotten to the point of I hope they huury up a tie up all the loose ends. Any longer and I won't care if they get off the island or not.
btw, did anyone get what Achee's (?sp) special gift was such that Jack got his butt kicked over it?

Its annoying that they keep acting like these small revelations are huge bombshells. I mean they all mean something I'm sure, but some of this stuff is fairly obvious and not that intriguing.

Wasn't ABC promoting we would find out the answers to 3 questions during last night's episode? The only thing answered was how Jack got his tatoo. And to be honest, of all things I wanted answered, that wasn't high on the priority list.

Matthew Fox had that tattoo before he was even cast for the show, and they didn't even get the meaning right -- see explanation here. So I found that whole thing kind of lame, and we already know that Jack is a reluctant, tortured wanna-be leader who gets mad and yells and has daddy issues. Wow, thanks guys!
I don't even remember what the other two questions were. Was one about the kids? The "giving them a better life" thing was lame. I want more episodes like last week's.

Thanks! But really, was 'her gift' worth getting a beat-down for it?

I liked it because it wasnt too intense -- it was good to have a good feel show. Do yall know the name of that song that was playing when Hurley got the car running back up?
And i dont know if yall remember me asking this but i found out that the undercover cop who busted Locke is the guy who is in the guy in the upcoming movie, The Invisible...anyone else think he is a cutie? looking forward to checking out this film...
