2nd: I'm not sure how familiar you are with chemo. It tends to create severe nausea and zaps energy. Even with the anti-nausea medication, people often aren't able to keep much food down. It's possible she won't be interested in binge-ing (binging doesn't look right). Chemo is so rough on families, sometimes I feel like if it harder than the cancer. With cancer, people can look completely healthy, but with chemo there is a definite change in appearance.
I'm a geriatric counselor. I've seen my share of post-chemo nausea! She has a thick head of long, blonde hair, and I'm afraid to mention to her mother that maybe it would be best if Kristin got her hair cut now.

So, when I went to the doctor, I had to breathe into a tube to check my lungs since I have been wheezing and coughing. Most people blow in the 400s, where as I blew in the 100s. I've been put on medication and an inhaler. Hopefully I get better soon! If I'm not better in a week, they want me to come in for chest x rays.

I hope you just have some congestion, and not asthma!

I am in need of patience. My Daughter has applications in to 5 schools for Graphic Design which for the most part will not have decisions out til 2/1 or in the case of VATech, 4/1. Nothing will bring the news any faster, but I am praying daily that I will just be able to put it out of mind til we know something. Also, I don't want my anxiousness to affect her. The schools are NC State, VA Tech, Syracuse, Ohio State and Cincinnati. I don't want to rush this year as she is my last to leave home....but I so want to know where God is sending her next.

For those of y'all who don't know, my husband is the Sports Information Director at Concordia University. He found out yesterday that their basketball coach, Tyler Jones, lost a grand-niece in the Sandy Hook killings. Her brother, who is in third grade at the same school, escaped unhurt, but needless to say, their family - and of course, all of the families involved - need prayer to get through this ordeal.

If you live in the Chicago area, and listen to the radio, you've probably heard Tyler on a commercial for Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He's being treated successfully as an outpatient for prostate cancer, and has made several testimonials for them. He's also been on ESPN a few times for this, as he told his team about his illness.
