How unfortunate. Prayers to her family, friends, and sisters.

So I got two prayer request for members of my old church. First the Father of my old priest is in a "semi-coma" and actively dying. Second, I just found out a friend got a letter from his husband saying that the relationship was over. He just left for some extended medical treatment, but sent the letter before leaving. So yeah prayers for all involved.

So, I'm in the hospital. I was feeling fine yesterday morning, ate brunch, was working from home and was just overcome with abdominal pain. Went to ER a little later and they admitted me. It's just the Crohn's Disease rearing its ugly head and it's clearing up already, but prayers are always appreciated. I'm hoping to be able to go home tomorrow.

Thanks all. I'm feeling really pretty normal now, although I haven't eaten any solid foods yet. They've started me on liquids. It is looking good for me getting to go home tomorrow.

Get better soon AGDee!

I was in Canada visiting family the second week of June. A friend of my dad and uncle is up there, and was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer prior to us coming up there. My parents did get a chance to go see him and knew this would be the last time they would ever see him. Just before we left, the doctors gave him 2 weeks to 2 months to live; surgery is not an option and doctors determined that if he did chemo it would kill him. It's been more than 2 weeks since then. Please just pray for his comfort at this time.

I'm feeling fine now, but would really like to be at home now. ETA: Talked to the doctor and he said probably tomorrow, if all goes well with food today. I'm keeping it safe with the food- going with what I know works for me when I'm having a flare.

DS- Lifting your family friend and those who care about him up in prayer.

Well...let's add one more on top of it. My 101 year old great grandmother just passed away this evening. I wasn't too close as I hadn't seen her in years (she lived in New Brunswick) but I can't imagine the kind of life she led being that she lived over a century. I only wish that I have her longevity genes.
