Hey, that is such a great question! I'm going through recruitment this week and I was thinking the same thing. I want them to know I'm impressed with their accomplishments without sounding like I'm sucking up or a total creeper. I don't want them to think of me like this: GIFSoup
Any GCers have advice?

I don't understand what the question is. You want to compliment the chapter, or individual rushers, or what?

Sorry, i see now that i didn't really phrase the question clearly. How do you give compliments to the rusher without sounding fake? (both complimenting the rusher on her chapter and complimenting the rusher individually)

I don't really understand why you want to compliment the rusher or the chapter. I mean, you should show genuine enthusiasm for the chapter and cool things that it does as they come up in conversation ("wow, you guys raised a billion dollars for poor kittens? that's really impressive!"), but just complimenting people out of the blue is a little awkward.

This is what I meant. I mean, I can't help but be appreciative of the great accomplishments that are done through Philanthropy, whether inside or outside of GLO's.
I'm just going to be myself, and if someone says something like "We raised $10,000 for Local Animal Shelter last year", I can respond in the way that comes naturally to me, such as "That's really cool. What did you enjoy most about working with Local Animal Shelter?"

My mom was a Chi O at FSU and the most wonderful advice she gave me about my upcoming recruitment was this:
"You go to school with these women, you will have classes with these women. Behave in a manner that you will be proud that they remember you for."
