Ugh I'm so tired of Sami/Austin and Carrie/Lucas.

Could they PLEASE just give me back my Austin/Carrie.

Seriously, that's all I want.




Oh and logically why would having a baby with Lucas be any different then with Austin. Their both from the same damn gene pool (ie. Kate). So stupid. "You can't have a baby with Austin because of genetics, Oh but you can have one with Lucas (who by the way is his half brother)". So dumb.

I miss Days.. I used to watch everyday, but with work I havent had time.

I heard Patch and Kayla are back. I loved them.

I also heard Days could be cancelled. Passions was renewed but Days hasnt been yet. I hear they want them to take a pay cut and Jennifer wants to quit. I cant imagine Days being gone. I watched it since I was a baby. Although I dont watch it anymore, its nice to know its still there if I ever want to turn it on for a min.

'Days': Apt. fire rekindles old flames
By CAROLYN HINSEY

Things heat up (literally!) for honeymooners Lucas and Carrie today when their apartment catches fire on "Days of Our Lives."

"Lucas and Carrie have marathon honeymoon sex," says Christie Clark, who plays Carrie. "Five rounds! They fall asleep. The candles are lit and the curtains are blowing. The curtains catch on fire."

The newlyweds are too exhausted to notice, but Carrie's true love - Lucas' brother, Austin - happens to be passing by.

"Austin sees [the fire] from the street and saves the day," says Clark. "He carries Carrie out, but she's a little worse for wear. They take her to the hospital, but she's kind of out of it."

Austin picks that moment to confess his real feelings to his new sister-in-law.

"She can't move, but she can hear," says Clark. "She hears him say he still loves her."

Carrie wakes up, reeling from Austin's confession.

"She says to him, 'Hearing you say that really threw me for a loop. Please don't do this. Don't screw this up. We've both decided to move on. I'm trying to move forward. I'm married!'"

But viewers know Carrie wed Lucas only because she's pregnant with his child. She actually loves Austin.

"She's [angry] in a way when Austin says all that to her, but she is also extremely overjoyed and excited by what he said," says Clark.

Still, the new Mrs. Roberts insists they both do the right thing and stay with their partners.

(In true soap fashion, Austin is engaged to Carrie's sister, Sami.)

"Austin agrees, but only because he thinks she's pregnant," says Clark.

Wait - Carrie's not pregnant?

"She took a home pregnancy test and it was positive," says the actress. "She called her obstetrician's office and they said, 'We don't want to see you till 10 weeks.' She's one of those people who didn't wait. She rushed the wedding because she thought she was pregnant, but it was a false positive."

That doesn't come out till the end of next week, but when it does, look for massive fireworks to follow.

"Carrie is desperate not to hurt her sister because they are finally friends," says Clark. "She doesn't want to break her sister's heart. But she wants Austin bad."

Sami has kind of a thing for Lucas, so maybe the sisters could switch partners.

"Wouldn't that be fun?" responds Clark. "All I know is that Carrie really wants a baby - and I'm sure at some point Austin will be that supersperm!"

Any speculation on who this mystery person is who is mixing up Belle's/Mimi's eggs, blackmailing Lexie, and threatening to expose Sami? I assume it's the same person... considering the black gloves and all.

Oh, and was the guy who plays Jack fired? So, he's really going to die this time?

I still wonder why I waste my time with this show.

According to this week's Soap Opera Digest, Matthew Ashford was fired, even though he just signed a new contract. There was no mention of him "dying" in the article. It did mention that Frankie got him in to a experimental treatment program in Washington. I think that is where he and Jennifer are going. (She is also leaving the show.) Who do you think Frankie will be paired with? Billie?

As for the mysterious figure screwing with everyone in Salem, who knows who it is. Could be some minion of Stefano's. I wonder if he is coming back since he has left the soap he was on. That would be interesting.

Could it be?! Oh please bring back Joseph Mascolo. I think he's terrific! I don't know how they would explain his return since his blood was drained or was he burned to death? I just remember how creepy he looked. I vote for Stefano in my wishful thinking mind.

Deidre and Drake are on their annual vacations. I think they (the show) pre-filmed short stuff prior to them leaving.

As for the black glove person, please explain to me the logic of switching the samples. They were already embreyo's in the first place, so all the person did was make Mimi pregnant with Belle & Philip's child while Belle would be pregnant with Shawn and Mimi's child. What is the logic in that?


Does anyone else find it super annoying that Hope, at over 40, can just have sex and BOOM she's pregnant, but yet the twenty somethings (Belle & Mimi) CAN'T get pregnant the normal way? I may be no OB-GYN, but knowing what I do know about fertility, that it's easier to get pregnant in your 20's than your 40's. Plus, how much do you want to bet Hope's baby will turn out perfectly normal, when the chances of her having a child with Downs and other birth defects have significantly increased due to her age.

Seriously, I know soaps aren't realistic, but that storyline is just downright stupid.

Except with what they keep saying, I keep thinking that Belle's egg was fert. w/Shawn's "sample." And Mimi's w/Phillip's. Because Mimi keeps saying things like "I am having Phillip's baby." I remember seeing more than one swap, but I can't remember when they both happened.

Yes, there were two swaps. The first swap happened when the black glove person switched the lids of the petry dishes. So, what was really Belle's egg had Mimi's name on it, and vice versa. So, when the eggs were fertilized, Belle's egg was fertilized with Shawn's sperm (since Mimi's name was on the dish), and Mimi's egg was fertilized with Phillip's sperm (again, since Belle's name was on the dish). Then, there was another swap... this time, just prior to implantation. So, Belle is carrying her own egg (fertilized by Shawn) and Mimi's surrogate is carrying Mimi's egg (fertilized by Phillip).

Still don't have any good ideas about who is doing this. Maybe Eric (Sami's twin), since he's Belle's half brother? But then, he probably wouldn't be threatening to expose Sami and the whole Austin/Lucas/Carrie thing. I hope Stefano's back... just coming to stir up trouble.

While I do think it's silly that so many young people (Mimi, Belle, Carrie) are having trouble conceiving, the individual scenarios aren't totally unrealistic. As in Mimi's case, it's not terribly uncommon for women to become infertile after having an abortion. As for Belle, well Phillip has low sperm motility, which isn't that terribly uncommon either. And then Hope... if you knew my in-laws you'd know that some people are just really fertile. And while the odds of birth defects do go way up after age 35 it definitely isn't impossible for a woman to have a normal child. My mother-in-law was at least 40 when she had her 11th and last child, and he's normal. But I see what you're saying. Many of the Days storylines are just plain dumb.
