I voted Saturday, the first day of early voting in Michigan, and I waited about 20 minutes. I'm relieved that I've done my part. I have an ERA bangle bracelet that was my mom's from the 70s and I'm wearing it every day until we know the results.

CG, just remember honeychile's listed location, where she indicates she's Counting Her Blessings. Just Count Your Blessings, too, instead of worrying, and hopefully your worries will fade.

What do you mean by it’s consumed you, CG?

I hope your mom’s bracelet brings good luck to us all, Dee. I really do.

Both you and honeychile are right, Cheerio. It’s very important that we count our blessings. I’m very blessed, and I count those blessings all the time. But if he wins this election, and does what he says he’s going to do, we will no longer have any blessings to count, because we will no longer have a country to count those blessings in. None of us will.

Meaning I haven’t been sleeping like I should, because I’m scared. I mean, I’m up posting in bed now, and it’s 2:13 am. I have to get up for work in a few hours. This is why I’m always sleepy. The closer we get to Election Day, the more afraid I feel and the more worried I get. I honestly don’t think people understand what will happen if he wins. He’s got something planned to win, even if he loses. His words are getting darker and darker. He’s just saying whatever now. That tells me he’s planning something that he thinks is going to get him the win regardless. Know what I mean?

Wow, CG. That’s not good. I guess that explains your “I’m so sleepy posts”. That’s not healthy.

Forgot to add: I think you have a point about him trying something scandalous to win. You see his New York rally? He and Mike Johnson have some kind of secret or plot. I didn’t pay much attention to him saying that until I read your post.

I know. It is unhealthy.

I haven’t. Where did you see that? CNN? MSNBC?

I wish I understood why certain states are “battle states” while others are not.

It's the Electoral College delegate count in states that are close. Winning certain states will tip the Electoral College total one way or the other.

I think the electoral college is the reason we’re having this problem right now.

I’m sitting here reading an article when I should be working. It’s an article about the percentage cheating gap between men and women. Men cheating is higher Lol. But it says a lot of it depends on age. It’s higher with middle aged couples. Any of y’all ever cheated? Or been cheated on? I cheated when I was in my 20s and early 30s. I love women so I couldn’t help it Lol. I’m damn near 40 now and I don’t think I’d cheat. I’m not saying I’d put it past myself, but I doubt it. Maybe it does depend on age.

Ugh. No one paid attention to this part of PA for the past fifty years and now every other day, some prominent politician is here.

All it does is mess with the flow of traffic lol. For better or worse, people knew who they’re voting for by this point.

I have never cheated, nor been cheated on. I never ever will, and if my partner cheats on me then its goodbye forever.

It never made sense to me. If you love your partner, then don't cheat. It's easier not to cheat than to cheat, especially when you know the emotional consequences and how relationships are never the same after. If you don't love your partner, then break up with them.

Its just a little embarrassing to be a cheater...

Lol! Yeah, the article said women are quicker to divorce a cheater than men are. Men will try to work it out more than women will if they’re cheated on, according to the article. I actually thought women tended to knowingly stay with or stay married to a cheater more willingly than a man. I guess I was wrong. Women turn me on too fast. I think I’d cheat but would try not to.

There is a local political race in our area that has one particular candidate bombarding my snailbox with DAILY mailings since July 4th, which IMO is WAY too often, I so decided not to vote for her. I'm not voting for her opponent, either.

This is despite the fact I liked her and her basic ideas of governing when we chatted a few minutes once this summer after she rang the doorbell.

The 8"x10" photo mailings repeat the exact same information and types of photos on each version.

The pre-printed, typed mailings "directly from the candidate" (with your name printed across the top greeting line) are all exactly the same words, and I have six copies from my snailbox to prove it.

Her opponent claims she enjoys spending taxpayer monies in her current political position. Well, her and her political party definitely enjoy buying and mailing way too many snailed political ads.
