ugh sometimes this show really bugs me.

I'm so tired of Sami.

I hate how just back in October she was in love with Lucas. Then suddenly Austin shows up and she's now in love with him. Carrie shows up in December and suddenly Lucas in love with her. Meanwhile the writers have made it abundantly apparent that Austin and Carrie are still in love with one another (by having their characters say it many, many times). GRRRRR!!!!

I just wish the writers would have Carrie grow a backbone and stand up to Sami's conniving plots.

I mean out of all the years I've watched this show, I can only think of one occasion where Carrie actually decked Sami, and Sami deserved it. But man the crap that Sami did to Carrie, if it had been me, that girl would have been bitch slapped many times. LOL.

I guess supposedly Sami blackmails Lexie into telling Carrie that she and Austing share a rare genetic abnormality that could effect their children, so she shouldn't chose Austin. Problem with this, Lucas and Austin are HALF-BROTHERS.

So frickin lame!!!!!!!

I read in TV Guide (months ago) that Days wasn't going to be on the air anymore (after sometime this spring). Has anyone else heard that? If so, know any of the details?

I read the same thing, but I haven't heard anything. I kind of don't think it is true because both Austin Peck and Christie Clark signed long term contracts with the show (like 2-3 years).

You know their viewership would go back up if they would A) quit dragging out storylines for like years (and that is what it seems like even when it is only a couple of months) B) attempt to give fans what they want and C) stop recycling storylines (ie. the Austin/Carrie/Lucas/Sami quadrangle). I really think the show needs a new group of writers. Someone with some "new blood" and "fresh ideas". Hell, I'm not a professionally trained writer but I could think of better ideas for the show.

I agree! If Bo and Hope break up one more time! I'm beyond tired of this story line.

Plus, the whole Georgia is alive storyline, good god LAME!!!! I very much remember the episode in which Billie gave birth to a STILLBORN!!!!!

And how many times is Jack going to "die"?

Speaking of Who's baby? Has anyone got any spoilers on when Shawn will find out he's Claire's father? I'm dying to see the wedding get broken up! I really like Mimi, but she needs to NOT listen to her mother and especially Kate! I hope that Victor does it! I don't know if any of you saw the dream that Mimi had when she told everyone, I had missed part of it (running in and out), and I totally fell for it! I was pissed when I saw it was a dream!

I came in on the middle of that too... but I knew it was only a dream right off the bat. Why? Because things were happening way too fast!

The thing is, I like Shawn and Mimi and my reasoning behind it is that Belle is really pissing me off. She is becoming such a whiner. She made her choice. She chose Philip. And now that Shawn is in love with Mimi (which I think he does love her, just in a different way than Belle), Belle is is becoming super-freak. It's just bugging me.

Okay, here's what I don't get. Aren't Carrie & Sami, Shawn's cousins? Bo and Roman are half-brothers, so therefore Carrie & Sami are Shawn's cousins, why aren't they at his wedding? Well at least Sami (since Carrie is in the hospital). And why is it that no one, except Austin and Lucas, seem to be worried that Carrie was in the hospital. Hell her own dad was more interested in Marlena (his ex-wife) than his own daughter. Twisted much!!!! And Lucas, he's probably related to Shawn somehow, I just know how yet. Oh, Hope, she's a Horton and Lucas is a Horton. Right there is the connection. So why isn't Lucas at the wedding? Seriously, for a show that says that family is important, there is quite a bit of family missing Shawn's wedding.

And is anyone else just tired of Sami? I can't believe the writers actually had her say that she is still in love with Lucas, would like to be a family with him and Will, but she doesn't want to fight for him (basically what she said), so she is going to turn her attention to Austin who is her SECOND CHOICE? WTF?!?! It seems like such a better use of her energy (especially the creative energy of plotting) would be used to get back with Lucas.

This show sometimes! LOL.

Lucas has pretty much told her it ain't gonna happen, so she's going for the next big thing...I guess. She THINKS she has a chance with Austin. I'm hoping that they will end up together. I'm getting really tired of this Sami, it's the same crap over and over. I think Lexie's going to be the NEW bad girl...with Chelsea hot on her heels!

I do think that Belle is getting pretty annoying too. I'm really shocked that Mimi buckled and didn't tell Shawn. NOBODY in soaps ever learns their lesson from the past! LOL!

I just read in the most recent Soap Opera Digest that Carrie gets pregnant, so therefore Austin proposes to Sami and they plan a cutesy double wedding. I hate to say this, I'm so disgusted. Because seriously it's like the same frickin storyline! Kate is going to destroy the wedding somehow. She'll probably come in and say that Sami blackmailed Lexie into saying that Carrie and Austin can't be together, then Carrie will break up with Lucas. And since I want Carrie and Austin back together, Carrie will admit that Austin is the father of her child. LOL.
Since I won't get what I want, other than probably the wedding's not happening, I hate to say this (but since it is a soap opera it's not too incredibly bad) but I hope they have Carrie miscarry. I just don't want Carrie to have Lucas's kid.

I also read that Shawn and Mimi are also going to try and get pregnant via in-vitro.

I used to watch DAYS and I've recently come back to it because Patch and Kayla ARE BACK!
