They got the call yesterday that they had to come over soon if they wanted to see her. My heart breaks for her.

ree-Xi, prayers headed your way. Also best wishes to everyone taking the bar exam.
It never rains but it pours ...... I woke up this morning feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. I have either a bad cold or the flu. I'm taking Tamiflu in case it is the flu. I hate being sick.

Ooh, some of my babies had that. Get better soon. I usually don't tell folks I'm praying or thinking of them but today I feel like telling it.

Round Two - the triumph of hope over experience. (I know - the quote was about remarriage, but in this case, it's about my job . . . )
I have a phone interview for the job I want tomorrow at 3:00 c.s.t. - prayers MUCH appreciated. My youngest son celebrated his birthday yesterday by coming down with a bad case of strep. If you would throw in a bonus prayer for my little Liamnator I'd appreciate it.

Trying to figure out what I want to do with my career next year, teach same grade/same school, different grade/same school or just move to a new school. We got a new principal this year, in only our second year open and I just dont know...

Found out that one of my sisters is in critical but stable condition right now. She graduated in December, recently got her first "big girl job" and broke her foot a few weeks ago. Some blood clots from her foot travelled up to both lungs. She flatlined in the ambulance last night, but they revived her. They've given her blood thinners to break up the clots. She's responsive to sound, but they aren't sure how long she was without oxygen and are expecting that she may have some neurological damage, if she ever fully wakes up.

This sister passed away yesterday. The first member of our chapter to enter Chapter Eternal *sigh*. My chapter will be 9 years old on Wednesday.
Honestly? As much as it sucks for us, so happy for her. I told my husband that if I were ever in a similar situation where I flatlined, etc, that means the big man upstairs is ready for me, and nobody better try to yank me back...

I am so heartbroken today. One of my line sisters was notified that her cousin murdered 3 of their relatives this morning. One of the fallen was her cousin (a member of Kappa Alpha Psi). The other 2 were her cousin and aunt, the shooter's own mother and grandmother.
She's absolutely devastated. Please send prayers for her and her family. She had JUST gone to visit last week because her mother may be dying. Her mother is stable so she came home, only to have to return for 3 other funerals.
