finally saw the episode. why didn't anyone mention the incredible ms. betty wright! I saw this woman in concert and let me tell you, she can give mariah carey a run for her money.

You're right Betty Wright is amazing. I just hope that she can turn these ladies around.

Comes out on Tues 8/22 You canhear it on the Leak on MTV.com. What do you think? Are they going anywhere? I am going to go take a listen to see what I think.

I saw the season finale and I have to admit they sound alright. I like the song they did the video for, the one the Brian Robins (? can't remember his last name) and the one Scott Stortch produced. I'm not gonna buy the CD, but I'll listen on the radio w/o turning the station.

I actually think they will do well. They are not my cup of tea, but I can see them doing well with the younger audience. Their stage presence and singing have really improved. Puffy has really gotten some great producers for this project.

I listened to their entire CD on MTV - The Leak and I must say that they did a great job...Of course there are some songs that I like better than others; however, overall, it's a good project.

I wish them well on release week. They'll be up against Jessica, Paris and Outkast.

Call me cynical, but I expect these girls to suffer the same fate as O-Town, Eden's Crush, and Da Band. Fans just aren't going to respect something they saw picked apart, polished up, packaged, plopped in front of the camera and instructed to say "please love me". American Idol works better because all you see is the artist performing.

I agree considering that nothing that Puffy has done as of late is doing that well.
TANGENT: Thank you I could not remember the name of the first band done on TV Eden's Crush. The lead singer from the Pussycat Dolls was in that group and try to deny it when asked about it.
BACK TO THE SUBJECT: Puffy's connections are the saving grace for this new band. I am not feeling the name "Danity Kane". I do wish them well though.

They weren't up against Jessica but DK has the #1 album in America, beating Outkast, Paris and the Cheetah Girls.
