I know that feeling some of my friends are supportive, while others feel that joining GLO's is pointless...one of my friends even called them "glorified gangs".....so silly! Lol and when I began playing the game they all thought I had lost it! but surprisingly some of them are in my house now and they are addicted!

I play SL!  I agree with most that I do wish you could add sisters without "friending them".
And seriously, they should add a glam called a "chill pill", because some people take the fighting/slapping waaaayyyyy to personally.

I have found that when you friend people for the purpose of sorority life and once they join your house, you can de-friend them from your friends list and they will still be in your house.
